What is the opportunity?

The Senior Manager, Commercial Banking Finance, P&CB Finance is the lead role in the preparation of Cash Management and FX financials relating to annual plans, quarterly forecasts, monthly financials and strategic planning documents as well as providing ongoing decision support and analysis; as well as provide financial advice and counsel to Cash Management, including PayEdge/FX product teams

This role will work closely with the FAs supporting the Transaction Banking distribution/client support team in developing business models and other strategic initiatives as well as presentations to Commercial Banking OC as needed. Also, providing senior management with critical financial advice to efficiently manage and guide the strategic direction of the business.

What you will do?

Advisor for the Cash Management (incl. PayEdge) and FX product teams, providing monthly reporting, forecasting and planning, including the support to the ongoing growth strategiesEnsures timely reporting and communicates effectively with Transaction Banking Product Business leadership teams; responsible for the production of monthly Scorecard and monthly/quarterly financial reporting Track RBC core and HBCA performance separately; ensure HBCA related revenue is tracking to initiatives targetLead proactive financial management of products including forecasting, planning and ongoing decision support and financial analysisEnsure cash management revenue from Capital Markets is filtered accurately; monitor and advise business the cash management revenue retained within Capital Markets to support the business recover appropriate cost for servicing these clientsDetail analysis of FX volume, including spread earned by Capital Markets to provide insights to the businessMonitor/track PayEdge performance and provide timely reporting to the PayEdge Executive Advisory Committee; attend bi-weekly PayEdge performance meeting and have meaningful discussion with the business participants; ensure PayEdge performance is tracking to the capital injection PARFacilitate reporting FX revenue to correct client segmentsFacilitate or develop financial modeling for strategic initiatives; Provides valuable inputs and review the models and assumptions for validity

What you need to succeed?

Must Have

5+ years of relevant finance and industry experience with preferably strong knowledge of RBC planning, reporting and forecasting processesCPA/CFA//MBA Strong understanding of the drivers of performance and outcome measures of Business products, RBC, and the financial industryCross enterprise mindsetExcellent written and oral communication skills and ability to influence.Focused on continuous improvementCreative, innovative, proactive and strategic business senseStrong understanding of the drivers of performance and outcome measures of Business products, and the financial industryCross enterprise mindsetSuperior financial modeling skills (ie. strong Excel modeling skills)Strong technical skills preferred (ie. Tableau database management)
