The Raytheon Operations and Supply Chain team has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Manager, Commodity Management and Sourcing, within the Energetics & Propulsion Commodity Strategy Product area. We are looking for an experienced candidate to develop commodity strategies aimed at minimizing supplier risk, accelerating time to market, and driving cost efficiency. The candidate would be responsible for a commodity within the Energetics & Propulsion portfolio, which consists of rocket motors, engines, batteries, firing devices, and warheads.
In this role, you will generate commodity strategies that support Raytheon’s Strategic Business Units (SBU). You will engage cross-functional teams in developing your strategy. Once developed, you will coordinate with the SBUs to integrate the strategies into their Material Program Strategies (MPS). Also, you will work with Product Commodity to transition strategies to execution. You will be responsible for managing and maintaining the Grow, Maintain, Reduce, Exit (GMRE) for your respective commodity.
Additionally, you will need to support both RTX and SBU level Strategic Sourcing Reviews. In the process of developing your strategy, you may lead market research analysis through Request for Information (RFI) and/or Request for Proposals (RFP). This can also include conducting Best Value Source Selection (BVSS) for strategic sourcing strategies. You will work with both internal, external customers to ensure strategy success.

Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 10 years prior relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 8 years' experienceExperience with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and the Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS)The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearanceQualifications We Prefer:

The salary range for this role is 124,000 USD - 250,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
