Senior Manager, Controlling Region

1. Provide financial support as business partner to the Finance Director of Operations with strong participation in the Management Team;

2. Drive business turnaround and change initiatives in region to improve profitability and cash flow performance;

3. Drive a process-driven culture, ensuring robust internal financial controls are maintained and constantly monitored; Drive adherence to all policy and procedures and have robust work instructions for the plants.

4. Developtools for use in plant analytics in order to drive business improvement initiatives;

5. Drive monthly management meetings to review the key performance indicators, monthly operations reports and progress to goals; Guarantee the timely and accurate reporting of financial results – for actualsand also planning scenarios (but not limited)

6. Coordinate and review quarterly forecasts and annual profit plans, as well as 5 year business plans/ Adherence to timing and quality requirements for forecast and profit plans for respective region.

7. Drive Continuous Improvement and the implementation and use of Best Business Practices at all plant locations;

8. Responsible for weekly, monthly and quarterly financial reporting of the region;

9. Ensure CSOX and IOS compliance at all plant locations and performs audits of internal controls.

10. Performs quarterly balance sheet reviews to effectively manage balance sheet and working capital, performs monthlyBalance Sheet reconciliation approval in ART for respective region

11. Work closely with customer business units to analyse commercial margin trends and collaborate on commercial initiatives toenhance overall plant profitability. Assists commercial teams with claim preparations etc.

12. Establish an effective communication to the entire organization about the financial situation ofa specific finance area (e. g. Inventory, Business case analysis etc,...)

13. Managing R&O process of the plants to ensure opportunities are booked timely and risks are appropriately mitigated, through this ensures achievement of FY Profit Plan financial targets

14. Drives studieswith other plants and other YFAI organizations to improve efficiencies and/or control environment

15. Works with the commercial team to verify/ challenge new business case assumptions, understands the costing model and costing methodologies
 

Requirement:

Business Degree in Accounting/Finance or equivalent, MBA is a plus 10+ years’ experience in Financial Operations Controllership in a manufacturing environment (automotive and/or multi-plant experience is a must) Strong leadership, presentation skills, and ability to explain and communicate financial results to management in an understandable and actionable format fordecision-making purposes.  Demonstrated track record of building trust and operatingeffectively within a dynamic and changing organization.  High level of proficiency atanalysis of financial information and interpretation into useful information communicated to non-financial leaders  Strong Problem Solving skills  Computer skills to include Excel, SAP & QAD, Hyperion (HFM), MS Office  Ability to travel up to 25% toplant locations within region as business conditions dictate depending on location
