Job DescriptionFreshworks is seeking a dynamic and strategic Senior Manager for our Corporate FP&A team. In this pivotal role, you will drive financial planning, analysis, and reporting processes to support the rapid growth of our organization. You will partner with key stakeholders across the business, ensuring financial insights align with our broader strategy and enable data-driven decision-making.
As a Senior Manager in FP&A, you will be responsible for implementing process improvements, conducting in-depth business analysis, and delivering key financial and operational metrics that provide meaningful insights to guide leadership decisions. Roles and Responsibilities:
Manage and coordinate the development of annual and recurring forecasts, focusing on the underlying business drivers and key financial and operating metrics to align long-term objectives. This includes owning the global long-term P&L, corporate planning calendar, and clearly communicating timelines, deliverables, and expectations with all planning stakeholders. Identify gaps in existing planning and forecasting processes, develop solutions to address gaps, and seek greater integration and standardization across planning teamsPartner with key stakeholders across the organization, including Finance and Accounting, Investor Relations, and Corporate Development, to provide narrative insights on current and expected future performanceShape, structure, and maintain the company's master customer data with IT and in collaboration with Finance, Accounting, Sales Operations, and other functionsBe a subject matter expert on customer data: build and scale models giving structure to data, assess historical trends, and design drivers to more accurately forecast customer metrics and support business decisionsSupport in the production of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial results and deliverables to the Executive team, the Board of Directors, and investorsLead the implementation and use of forecasting tools and help to achieve parity across systems Provide analytical, financial modeling, and decision-making support for ad-hoc and special projectsPlease note this is a hybrid role with onsite expectations of 3x/ week (Tue - Thur) from our San Mateo, CA headquarters.
QualificationsAt least 8 years of experience in FP&A, ideally within a SaaS companyAt least 5 years of experience in a Corporate FP&A functionStrong knowledge of Finance and Accounting processes, data structures, and systems in a public company environmentExperience with master data management Direct experience using financial systems, ideally with NetSuite and Anaplan or AdaptiveExcellent communication and presentation skills and attention to detailStrong drive for data integrity, building processes, and reaching solutions from scratchGrowth mindset with demonstrated ability to learn quickly Additional InformationThis role is based in the San Francisco Bay Area, and the expected base salary range for this position is as shown below. The actual base pay is dependent upon a variety of job-related factors such as professional background, training, work experience, business needs, and market demand. Therefore, in some circumstances, the actual salary could fall outside of this expected range. This pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future. This role is also eligible for a target bonus.
Compensation Package
$188,000 - $250,000 Base Salary + Variable Compensation
