Senior Manager, Corporate Strategic Communications

The Senior Manager of Corporate Communications is responsible for developing, implementing, and supervising communication strategies to successfully convey organizational messages to target audiences. They will collaborate with various teams to ensure consistency and coherence across all communication channels.

Responsibilities

Tactical Planning: Develop communication strategies aligned with organizational goals and objectives. Analyze target audiences, market trends, and competitor strategies to advise planning.

Investor Relations: Communicate financial performance & strategies.

Content & Channel Strategy: Produce high-quality content, including press releases, articles, blog posts, social media posts, and other materials, to engage audiences and convey key messages.

Media Relations: Cultivate and maintain relationships with media outlets and journalists. Pitch narratives, coordinate interviews, and handle media inquiries to secure coverage.

Measurement and Analytics: Track and analyze the effectiveness of communication strategies and campaigns using metrics such as reach, engagement, and conversion rates. Use insights to optimize future initiatives.

Crisis Communication: Develop crisis communication plans and protocols to run and mitigate reputational risks. Provide guidance and support during crisis situations.

Customer Engagement: Engage with internal and external customers, including employees, clients, partners, and community members, to establish relationships and cultivate goodwill.

Budget Management: Handle communication budgets effectively, allocating resources to improve impact and achieve objectives.

Qualifications

Validated experience (10+ years) in communications planning, strategy development, and execution.
Strong understanding of communication principles, techniques, and standard processes.
Excellent writing, editing, and verbal communication skills.
Proficiency in digital communication tools and platforms.
Strategic problem solver with the ability to translate sophisticated ideas into clear and compelling messages.
Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a constantly evolving, time critical environment.
Leadership skills with the ability to inspire and empower team members.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Experience in crisis communication management is a plus.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
