Project Kuiper is an initiative to increase global broadband access through a constellation of 3,236 satellites in low Earth orbit (LEO). Its mission is to bring fast, affordable broadband to unserved and underserved communities around the world. Project Kuiper will help close the digital divide by delivering fast, affordable broadband to a wide range of customers, including consumers, businesses, government agencies, and other organizations operating in places without reliable connectivity.
Kuiper's Commercial Revenue Operations (CRO) team is looking for a Senior Manager to drive the vision, strategy, and roadmap for our central analytics team. You will lead a team of Data Engineers, Business Intelligence Engineers, and Data Scientists. Your team will collaborate with business partners from sales, marketing, operations, product, engineering, finance and legal to define, plan, and build complex analytical solutions to inform business planning/inspection, sales performance, customer lifecycle analysis, capacity management and more. We are looking for a problem solver with strong analytical skills and a solid understanding of statistics & machine learning algorithms.

Key job responsibilities
• Drive the vision and roadmap for the Kuiper business central analytics team, comprising of Data Engineers, Business Intelligence Engineers, and Data Scientists.
• Collaborate with product and engineering teams across the Kuiper organization to launch models, dashboards, and mechanisms to develop insights and drive business inspection of key business performance metrics.
• Use optimization, statistical, machine learning and analytical techniques to create scalable solutions for business problems.
• Design, develop, and maintain complex visualizations to monitor and report business performance metrics.
• Proactively identify opportunities to improve data quality, performance, and usability of existing dashboards and reports.
About the team
Kuiper Commercial Revenue Operations (CRO) is responsible for the business strategy, operations and systems for Kuiper's commercial business across multiple industry segments in multiple countries.
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree
- 5+ years of experience managing technical data analytics teams (e.g., data engineers, business intelligence engineers, data scientists).
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience scaling a data analytics team in a zero to one environment.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $182,100/year in our lowest geographic market up to $314,800/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
