We are seeking a dynamic Data Governance leader to join our Finance Enterprise Data Warehouse and Analytics team. Together, we'll leverage data assets to enhance decision-making and improve financial performance, establish governance frameworks, maintain data quality, and promote collaboration between business and technical teams. This role focuses on managing data as a strategic asset while ensuring scalability and security.
What you'll be doing:
Developing and implementing enterprise-wide data governance frameworks, policies, and standards.
Establishing data quality metrics to ensure accuracy, completeness, and consistency of data.
Defining and enforcing data ownership and stewardship roles.
Monitoring compliance with internal policies and regulations like GDPR; conducting audits to ensure adherence.
Identifying, resolving, and preventing data-related issues.
Collaborating with IT on system integrations, data scalability, and security protocols.
Ensuring governance policies support business units' data needs; facilitating effective adoption of standards.
Documenting and tracking data lineage to ensure transparency and accountability.
Streamlining data workflows to improve operational efficiency.
What we need to see:
Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
12+ overall years of experience in data transformation, including at least 5 years in data governance or related roles.
3+ years of leadership experience.
Demonstrable experience developing and managing data governance frameworks in complex organizations.
Strong understanding of data governance principles, data quality standards, and regulatory compliance.
Proficiency in tools like Informatica, Collibra, Alation, or similar governance platforms.
Familiarity with BI tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) and database technologies (e.g., SAP HANA, SAP Datasphere, Databricks).
Superb communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
Ways to stand out from the crowd:
Experience in data infrastructure scalability and system integrations.
Knowledge of machine learning and analytics workflows.
Certifications such as DAMA Certified Data Management Professional (CDMP) or Collibra Certified Data Steward.

The base salary range is 196,000 USD - 310,500 USD. Your base salary will be determined based on your location, experience, and the pay of employees in similar positions.You will also be eligible for equity and benefits. NVIDIA accepts applications on an ongoing basis.
