Principal Responsibilities
Understand the regulatory landscape relating to data privacy in AsiaResponsible to drive the rollout and adoption of the Data Privacy policy and procedures across AsiaResponsible for managing the delivery of the data privacy related services and advise markets to ensure the Entity COO can effectively manage their riskActive participant in the design of the Data Privacy Framework, championing the specific needs of AsiaPartner with Global Businesses Function in the design and delivery of technical solutions compliant with ASP data privacy policies, procedures and regulationsManage the management and reporting on the level of compliance with Data Privacy policies and escalate any potential issues and concernsServe as the primary data privacy contact for markets and businesses in Asia, acting as the subject matter expert supporting the regionDesign and lead a literacy/education program to raise awareness and understanding of data privacy accountabilities, regulatory requirements, and risk across markets in AsiaDesign and deliver effective and actionable insights on data privacy and risk in Asia, proactively identifying opportunities to reduce risk through timely actionDevelop effective relationships with Group Privacy and Data Risk teams, and Cluster Market Heads of Data, COOs and CIOs to ensure data privacy risk is understood and managedSome careers open more doors than others.
