Purpose
 

As the Senior Manager, Diversity, Equity & Inclusion (DEI) for Global Operations & Technology, you will support the DEI strategy by executing key programs, initiatives, manage external partnerships, and fulfil compliance reporting requirements. You will support the Director, DEI with the implementation and management of DEI initiatives.

 

Is this role right for you? In this role, you will:

 

Manage and execute key Global Operations & Technology DEI programs and initiatives focused on inclusion. Provide feedback and recommendations on program/policy design and execution. Support relationship management with external partners. Ensure compliance with Enterprise Inclusion regulatory requirements (e.g., Employment Equity Narrative Report). Manage and update the Global Operations and Technology DEI budget, including monthly spend and forecasting reports. Utilize HR data to identify trends and make recommendations to support DEI programs and initiatives. Measure and analyze the effectiveness of DEI initiatives; report progress and identify priority areas. Foster a high-performance and inclusive work environment. Support the Director, DEI in developing quarterly decks for the Global Operations and Technology Inclusion Council and taking meeting minutes. Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to drive initiatives forward. Support with the submission requirements for Scotiabank’s awards and indices strategy to enhance external brand recognition.

 

Do you have the skills that will enable you to succeed in this role? – We’d love to work with you if you have:

 

Post Secondary Education from College or University  Experience and strong understanding of diversity, equity, and inclusion. Relevant HR or strategic initiatives experience is an asset. Project management experience, with the ability to implement corporate change strategies in collaboration with multiple cross-functional stakeholders. Strong business acumen and proven ability to build effective relationships at all organizational levels. Excellent communication, facilitation, and presentation skills to promote ideas, and resolve conflicts. Ability to translate evidence-based strategies into actionable plans that drive cultural and behavioral change. Proficiency in computer systems (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Social Media platforms).

 

Work Arrangement: This position is currently a Hybrid role. Please note that this is subject to change based on the needs of the business.
