**General Description:**
The Senior Manager, Digital Clinical Operations Data Analyst is responsible for implementing the GCO data and analytics strategy with the goal to increase Global Clinical Operations’ related productivity and aid in data driven decision making. Data Analyst will help transform raw data into actionable insights that support business strategies and decision-making. This will be achieved by working with the technology, engineering, and cross functional teams to
+ Support the Clinical Operations data model and stewardship of data
+ Supporting the mastering of Clinical Operations data
+ Performing adhoc analyses in order to meet GCO business performance needs
+ Experiment with prediction models toward new data-driven insights.
+ Supporting the discovery, design, and implementation of the analytical solutions for the Global Clinical Operations
**Essential Functions of the job:**
+ **Support the Strategic Vision** : Provide support for data governance, architecture, and implementation of data collection, storage, and analytics strategies. Promote a culture that exemplifies agility, compliance, process-orientation, data-driven decision-making, and thoughtful use of technology and innovation
+ **Data Pipeline Management** : Works with technology partners to create and maintain data pipelines and tools for data analysis and statistical modeling
+ **Reporting & Analytics** : Work with GCO global teams to identify & generate reports, descriptive, prescriptive and predictive analytical insights
+ **Data Quality and Integration** : Support Clinical Operations data model, data quality, profiling, masking, and integration processes
+ **Technical Expertise** : Support specific opportunities in machine learning, natural language processing, and statistical analysis. Monitor, evaluate, and optimize the performance and quality of the data and analytics solutions, as well as troubleshoot and resolve any issues that may arise
+ **Project Management** : Support the management of data-related initiatives, ensuring timely delivery of data initiatives while supporting the management of the risk and cost
+ **Roadmap Implementation** : Support the implementation of GCO data and analytics technology roadmap
+ **Compliance and Continuous Improvements** : Support the development of Data Governance global policies, Standard Operation Procedures (SOP), other controlled documents, and the end-to-end system processes. Ensure that systems and documentation are compliant with all relevant Regulatory requirements, including 21 CFR Part 11, ICH E6 (R2) as well as in accordance BeiGene SOPs and processes. Lead and support continuous improvement of system projects impacting GCO data and analytics. With support from QA, ensure qualification of vendors, support audit activities, and actively monitor vendor performance trends
**Supervisory Responsibilities:**
+ Be an individual contributor
+ Act as mentor to direct reports and their associates (as needed)
**Technical Skills:**
+ **Data Requirements:** Gather and document data requirements from various internal & external sources (datasets and stakeholders)
+ **Data Management** : Experience with data warehousing / data lake (Azure and Oracle), ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes, and data integration tools
+ **Statistical Analysis** : Strong understanding of statistical methods and tools to analyze and interpret complex data sets
+ **Machine Learning** : Knowledge of machine learning algorithms and frameworks to build predictive models
+ **Data Visualization** : Ability to create clear and insightful visualizations using tools like Tableau, Power BI, or similar
+ **Big Data Technologies** : Familiarity with big data platforms such as Hadoop, Spark, and cloud services Azure Databricks / Synapse
**Qualifications:**
+ Bachelor’s degree inComputer Science or related degree. Master’s degree preferred
+ 7+ years’ experience in drug development, managing clinical trial data and analytics
+ **Domain expertise:** Breadth of experience in data and analytics related to clinical operations to create unique and differentiated clinical operations’ value and business outcomes. Knowledge of clinical operations systems and associated reporting and visualization tools used in Clinical Operations; utilize past experiences and knowledge to work in an ambitious and fast-paced global biotech company
+ **Communication** : Exhibits an agile mindset, strong cross-cultural awareness, and strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively convey complex data insights to non-technical stakeholders
+ **Problem-Solving** : Excellent conceptual, analytical, and problem-solving skills to identify trends and make data-driven decisions.
+ **Collaboration** : Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to understand their data needs and deliver solutions. Partner with internal BeiGene departments, including Development Data Science, QA and IT, to develop standards, policies, and procedures associated with computerized systems, including lifecycle management for existing systems, and the implementation of innovative new systems
