Role and Responsibilities
Position Summary
The Sr. Manager, Digital will be an eCommerce and Marketing subject matter expert leading the day-to-day work on Samsung’s Home Entertainment (HE) – Integrated Marketing (IM) division, which supports TV, Audio, and Memory business, reporting to the Director - Digital. The Sr. Manager will build relationships with cross-functional teams and agencies and plan and implement best-in-class customer experience online. They will help drive and report on a range of key initiatives, seasonal (and product) launches by bringing tested and straight-forward Marketing best practices, and managing diverse activities based on key deadlines. The Sr. Manager may be assigned other duties to support the team based on business needs. This position is part of a fast-paced, dynamic digital team responsible for a growing business. They should have a vision and “big picture” thinking to identify new opportunities throughout the consumer journey to grow awareness, engagement, and conversion, while also having strong attention to detail. Ability to manage internal stakeholders across the organization, and agility to influence and collaborate across other vertical teams in a highly matrixed environment.
Role & Responsibilities
Overall HE Marketing Landing Pages site ownership from creative, updating content, logging bugs, and reporting on site performanceEnsure all aspects of site merchandising are on brand, employ best practices, and have KPIs to benchmark performance with a focus on Continuation RateManage execution of major annual launch campaign with Category Managers, internal eCommerce partners, and external agencies, ensuring clear communication and prompt response time.Report daily, weekly, and monthly site and third-party KPIs to internal teams.Understand key product reasons to buy and features between models.Experience documenting initiative requirements and communicating clearly to internal key stakeholders, sharing key activity updates, and exploring new ideas to find process efficiencies and offer forward-thinking solutions Monitor daily project progress and proactively tackle potential questions, delays, and conflicts communicating status updates and escalate project risks regularly to key stakeholdersAlign Digital creative across HE teams to create fit-for-purpose, consumer-centric copy & content to impact the HE business driving traffic to samsung.com, yield conversions, and being mindful of consumer journey phase and intent.Leverage SEO Content Strategy and drive action on content pages to improve site performance and traffic to HE pagesUnderstand competitive environment; proactively seek market knowledge through exposure to competitive retail landscapeManage a team of 3 Digital contractorsSkills and Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree and 7-10 years’ experience within eCommerce or Marketing, preferably with analytics and excel experience, web content management, and project management projects.Experience using Content Management Systems (CMS), Adobe suite, and Microsoft Office Suite of Applications, Jira/Confluence.Fundamental understanding of UX functionality to drive optimal customer experience.Must have strong skills in strategy and planning, budget, merchandising, and marketing along with project management skills and ability to prioritize and communicate across multiple levels of business.Keep abreast of best practices and new tools that might benefit our Marketing efforts.Preferred Qualifications:
Demonstrated ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks and meet project deadlines. Must be able to work with little supervision and be deadline-oriented. Excellent proofreading skills and grammar skills. Critical eye for consistency and communications effectiveness. Strong interpersonal, verbal and written skills.
