In this role, you will oversee all communications and public and government affairs activities for a specific geography or business unit. You are a business adviser who manages across internal and/or external advocacy and media relations, crisis and issues communications using integrated communications to promote and protect Mondelēz’s International reputation.
The Senior Manager will lead U.S. internal communications, driving a culture of engagement.
Primary Responsibilities
Lead development and execution of holistic employee engagement program for the U.S. working with cross functional partners. Program to include content calendar, events, volunteer opportunities, and other key milestones.
Manage and deploy internal content calendar and develop content for various employee engagement channels.
Partner with HR and ERGs to support planning and execution of key events and milestones (e.g., townhalls, key observance days)
Plan and execute annual U.S. volunteer event(s)
Build and maintain relationships with volunteering partners.
Oversee the tracking and reporting of volunteer hours.
Position Requirements
8-10+ years demonstrated experience in employee engagement.
Experience running editorial calendars.
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent business experience.
Experience organizing large corporate events with numerous stakeholders and deadlines.
Familiarity with volunteer management and platforms.
Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communications skills.
Proven ability to lead projects that deliver results.
Experience managing content calendar.
Strong writing skills.
Active listening skills with ability to understand your audience, synthesize key ideas, and weave together information to create a compelling story.
Experience with Microsoft Office suite.
Demonstrated success in leading multiple priorities, tasks, resources, deadlines, deliverables and complex timelines.
Proactive and self-starter, mature, independent and resourceful.
Ability to take ownership for actions, behaviors, and contributions, while inspiring and motivating self and others.
Comfortable dealing with ambiguity and ability to work in fast paced, dynamic environment and prioritize across competing initiatives.
Manage events budgets and deliver reports on results.
The anticipated base salary range for this position is $133,900 to 184,150; the exact salary depends on several factors such as experience, skills, education, and budget. The salary range may vary based on geographic location. In addition to base salary, this position is eligible for participation in a highly competitive bonus program with possibility for overachievement based on performance and company results.
