An amazing number, but we’re always looking for new ways to continue making a difference, and new people to make a difference with. **The opportunity** The Sr. Facilities Manager is responsible for overseeing the Facilities Management (including Physical Security) program at Teva’s North America Headquarters located in Parsippany, NJ. The incumbent will manage Teva employees, third party suppliers and landlord relationships to ensure that facilities and security needs are met and are supporting organizational operational and budgetary goals. Requires regular interaction with key stakeholders and building occupants. Regular engagement with senior and executive leadership will be a critical function of this role and the incumbent will be required to develop and implement solutions and effectively communicate with employees at all levels of the organization. Key activities include, facilities operations including preventive and reactive maintenance, physical security operations, utilities, cleaning, grounds, and management of assigned facilities and security related projects. **How you’ll spend your day** All areas of responsibility listed below are essential to the satisfactory performance of this position by any incumbents with reasonable accommodation if necessary. Any non-essential functions are assumed to be included in other related duties or assignments. + Manage the FM program within the assigned facilities by supervising Facilities and Security personnel and processes. Lead and develop subordinates and suppliers to insure initiatives and commitments are delivered in an effective and professional manner in accordance with Teva management practices, and contribute to the company’s goals and objectives. Prepare reports for Management and responds to all inquiries concerning all subordinates and suppliers and their performance. Act as a problem solver for any related activities for the site. + Manage assigned cost center budgets by recommending the annual budget for the assigned areas, developing justifications as required and monitor expense activity to ensure that expenses do not exceed expectations. Inform Management of any variances that may occur and manage operations within approved budgets. + Assist in the development and implementation of facilities and security procedures to support, and align with Teva North America, and Teva Global policies and local regulations. + Act as liaison with government entities for all facilities and security related responsibilities at the site and foster close working relationships and information exchange. Confer with local governments and organizations to ensure cooperation and coordination of facilities and security activities. Engage in relevant risk management initiatives and programs. + Develop requirements for facilities and security projects and work collaboratively with other groups to ensure their implementation. + Develop innovative programs to educate and promote facilities and security awareness for company employees, contractors and suppliers, and ensure related metrics are tracked and reviewed to identify trends. + Manage and conduct investigations as assigned to ensure prompt resolution of issues.
