The Impact of a Sr. Manager, Field & Account Based Marketing, Southern Europe at Coupa:
As Senior Marketing Manager, Southern Europe, you will own the marketing strategy and implementation for Spain, Portugal, and Italy, playing a critical role in Coupa’s growth across the region. Reporting to the Senior Field Marketing Manager, EMEA, this role combines autonomy, strategic planning with hands-on execution. From managing tradeshows to developing ABM campaigns (1:1 and 1:few), you will design and deliver impactful marketing programs that drive pipeline growth, support sales objectives, and establish Coupa as the leading spend management platform in the region. This is a remote-first role requiring a proactive self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced environment. Fluency in Spanish and Italian is mandatory (Portuguese is a plus), along with a deep understanding of the Southern Europe market. Ideally, you are based near Madrid, but flexibility is key as Coupa continues to expand its regional presence.
What You'll Do:Regional Ownership: Fully own Coupa’s marketing strategy for Spain, Portugal, and Italy, taking initiative to identify opportunities and drive results independently while ensuring alignment with EMEA-wide goalsAccount-Based Marketing (ABM): Lead 1:1 and 1:few ABM programs to engage key accounts and drive pipeline, with messaging tailored to customer personas and buying stagesEvent Management: Plan and execute high-impact events, including tradeshows, hosted events, and intimate networking opportunitiesSales Collaboration: Build strong relationships with sales leadership and teams, proactively providing support and insights to align strategies with revenue objectivesCross-Functional Engagement: Partner with EMEA and global teams, including customer marketing, alliances, and product marketing, to deliver cohesive, multi-channel campaignsData-Driven Strategy:Use analytics and data to own campaign performance measurement and optimize ROI, consistently refining strategies to improve lead-to-opportunity conversion ratesChannel Marketing: Collaborate with partners to create and execute integrated marketing programs that expand Coupa’s reach in the regionWhat You Will Bring to Coupa: Experience: in field marketing, ABM, or demand generation within B2B enterprise software/SaaS, with a strong record of driving pipeline and revenue. Channel marketing experience is a plusTechnical Expertise: Proficiency with MarTech tools, including Salesforce (CRM), Marketo (marketing automation), 6sense (ABM platforms), LinkedIn Campaign Manager, Outreach (sales engagement), and Sendoso (direct mail)Language Skills: Fluency in Spanish and Italian is mandatory; Portuguese is a plusRegional Knowledge: In-depth understanding of marketing strategies for Southern Europe, with sensitivity to cultural nuances and customer preferencesRelationship Building: Demonstrated ability to work closely with sales and leadership teams to align marketing efforts with business objectivesSelf-Starter: Highly proactive and able to work independently to deliver results in a remote-first environmentStrategic Thinking: Ability to balance big-picture planning with hands-on execution, ensuring marketing programs are impactful and aligned with regional goalsEducation: Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, or a related field#LI-Remote#LI-ML1
