Your Role:
As the Sr. Manager Field Marketing Public Sector you will be responsible for leading a team of field marketing managers to drive demand generation and account-based marketing programs in alignment with the Public Sector sales team. You will work with your team to gather market and customer insights in order to develop and execute strategic go-to-market campaigns that drive revenue growth across accounts for You will play a vital role in setting strategy, implementing, and executing regional field marketing programs to generate qualified leads to accelerate the progress of opportunities in the sales pipeline. You will understand the individual sales territories and their unique circumstances in order to execute initiatives to meet sales objectives.
Your Impact:
Align with leadership on priorities in order to educate and train account executives on new and existing campaigns/assets to showcase SolarWinds products and capabilities Work closely with regional sales leaders to oversee planning and execution of marketing campaigns for key strategic accounts within each territory. Drive high-value experiences focused on the customer needs and progression through the buyer’s journey Work cross-functionally with campaign, event and field marketing managers in developing and engaging regional- and industry- specific sales motions Deliver detailed reporting and metrics on activity results, campaign effectiveness, and ROI. Use data to make real-time adjustments and proactively identify trends and opportunities. Collaborate with the campaigns and channel leaders to identify opportunities to utilize and adapt broader marketing campaigns to drive public sector pipeline Drive public sector awareness and manage public sector PR agency relationship Regularly communicate feedback from the field to Marketing to drive campaign and messaging evolution Manage ongoing budget tracking and PO process including annual planning and quarterly forecasting Be a voice of public sector, along with sales, SE and marketing management to the SolarWinds product and corporate teams, understand the SolarWinds product’s performance in the market, and recommend shifts in vertical strategy and tactics to the team Lead a team of highly capable field marketing professionals to support them in expanding the impact of the field marketing motion and grow in their own careersYour Experience:
Experience successfully partnering with cross-functional departments such as Sales, Channel, Events, and Campaigns Strong ability to operate with a people-first mindset, including both internal and external stakeholders History of building trust across teams through written and verbal communications Detail oriented with proven project management and process improvement capabilities Proven success delivering measurable marketing results Inclination to consider problems from many angles, develop a strategic plan, and communicate the path forward across invested parties Experience with Public Sector go to market models as well as key initiatives and emerging trends in the space Strong analytical acumen and an ability to prioritize workload based on business impact Working knowledge preferred of Federal certification/compliance requirements such as Common Criteria, FIPS 140-2, RMF, DISA STIGs, FedRamp, etc. 6+ years’ experience in Marketing, technology marketing 2-3 years federal government experience required, SLED experience preferred, healthcare experience a plus 3+ years of people management preferredSolarWinds is an Equal Employment Opportunity Employer.
