Senior Manager, Finance

Essential Job Functions
•Monthly Reporting – Supervise the preparation of the monthly results reporting process to ensure that the monthly books are completed accurately and distributed timely.  Develop consistency and best practices.
•Variance Analysis – Provide support to the CFO and business leaders in their reviews of the monthly results.  Investigate unusual results and provide explanations of P&L variances after month-end close.
•Budgets – Work with the Finance Directors to develop a budget.  Share ideas for best practices for the budget process.  Consolidate the Business Unit budgets to produce the consolidated Hub Group budget.  Upload the budget into the accounting system.  Analyze actual results versus budget.
•Competitor Analysis – Gather, review and summarize the results of Hub Group’s competitors, peer group and suppliers
•Forecast – Work with the Finance Directors to develop a forecast.  Consolidate the Business Unit forecasts to produce the consolidated Hub Group forecast and review for reasonableness.  Report and analyze the actual results versus the forecast.
•P&L Reporting - Provide monthly P&L Reporting for the IT team. Continue to improve reporting processes through systems integration.
•Manage and develop internal financial analyst
•Any other duties and responsibilities as assigned. 

Minimum Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance.
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in financial management in a professional business environment is recommended.
• Demonstrated ability to manage a team by prioritizing and optimizing workloads through multi-tasking in order to meet company goals.
• Thorough knowledge of MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and ERP systems in general.
• Excellent organizational, planning, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities as well as flexibility to adapt to change with new systems and methods while working in a team environment.
