Position Summary
We are looking to hire a Senior Manager to provide financial support to the Private Employer Organization (“PEO”) and Aon Private Exchange (“PEX”) organizations. These business lines are part of the Commercial organization, and represent over $5B in revenue and 900k medical members. As the sole individual contributor you will partner with actuarial, underwriting, account management, sales, product, and other financial functions. Overall this role will be a key partner to the business and oversee the close, forecast/budget, run strategic projects, manage expenses and other ad hoc activities. Specifically this role is responsible for the following activities:
Oversee the monthly close process, including reporting on membership, premiums, benefit costs, SG&A (direct and allocated), risk adjuster and provide commentary for senior leadership on material drivers. Presents to the PEO/PEX leadership teams and assist Commercial FP&A with understanding of results.
Assist with the development of financial budgets and forecasts. Use analytics to help support forecasting assumptions. Partner with actuarial on fully insured results, including risk adjustment projections. Full ownership of self-insured fee projections and all membership drivers.
Support a culture of cost management excellence through ongoing reviews of direct cost center expenses and ongoing review of allocated expenses to the business units. Review Direct SG&A with the PEO leadership.
Lead ad hoc projects, including development of business cases for capital requests or business plans.
Required Qualifications
6-8 years of relevant financial experience
Financial planning or forecasting experience
Advanced financial reporting skills and ability to design action driven financial reports
Analytical capability to identify issues and develop creative solutions
Communicate clearly and present appropriate level of information to senior leaders
Preferred Qualifications
Healthcare or managed care experience
Development of plans and identification of risks and opportunities
Fully insured trend analysis and driver identification
Fully insured pricing support
Education
Bachelor’s Degree in accounting or finance
Pay Range
The typical pay range for this role is:
$82,940.00 - $182,549.40
This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above. This position also includes an award target in the company’s equity award program.
