Job Description

The NBCU Local Division consists of 43 local NBC and TLMD stations and 5 Regional Sports Networks. Reporting to the Director of FP&A, this key role on the NBCU Local Headquarters Finance team will primarily support the Regional Sports Networks (RSNs). This role will work closely with the NBCU Local leadership team (including the SVP and VP FP&A, SVP Production, and HQ/Station finance teams) and gain an in-depth view and understanding of the Local business.

Responsible for consolidating financial results, operational insights and providing variance explanations for all FP&A cycles (Budgets, Estimates, monthly pacing and close)Foster collaboration and streamline processes across the stations to gather information and insights for monthly pacing, estimates & budget cyclesOwn HQ Budgets such as Marketing, Research, Production and others as needed.  Understand deal terms and market nuances. Complete budgeting, pacing, forecasting & close related responsibilitiesOwn, manage, and maintain Free Cash Flow models and Partnership Cash Distribution forecastsSupport Director, FP&A in financial summaries for NBCU Local Management & News Finance HQResponsible for timely completion of quarterly reporting requirements and Comcast data requestsProvide financial modeling and analysis and be well-versed in the creation of dynamic financial models.  Key partner to financial systems team and subject matter expert on financial reporting software.Develop and aid in the career development of 1 Senior Financial AnalystLead Special projects and ongoing ad hoc analysis as needed

QualificationsBachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, related field, or equivalent work experienceMinimum 5 years of experience in accounting and/or Finance related fields

Hybrid: This position has been designated as hybrid, generally contributing from the New York, NY office a minimum of three days per week.

This position is eligible for company sponsored benefits, including medical, dental and vision insurance, 401(k), paid leave, tuition reimbursement, and a variety of other discounts and perks.
