The Senior Manager, FP&A will be part of Otis’ North Americas Operations Finance department, supporting New Equipment operations within the cost accounting and FP&A functions. This role is directly involved in monthly and quarterly reporting, forecasting, and cross-functional collaboration with factory and field operations to deliver valuable business insights. Reporting to the Sr. Director, North Americas Operations Finance, the Senior Manager will play a key role in financial planning, analysis, and operational support. This position provides a strong foundation for career growth at Otis by offering exposure to multiple finance and operations departments.

On a typical day you will: 

Support monthly and quarterly financial reporting and forecasting processes.Analyze manufacturing costs, variances, and product profitability to provide key insights.Conduct detailed product cost and margin analysis to understand cost drivers and profitability, including benefits from supply chain and engineering cost reduction activities.Develop and refine wall-to-wall margin reporting, considering changes in product mix and cost structures.Partner with engineering and other functions on capital investment business cases, new product development, changes, summarizing financial and operational benefitsAssess the impact of product mix changes on overall margins and identify opportunities for margin improvement.Monitor and report key financial metrics, trends, and operational performance drivers.Assist in the development and implementation of financial models to support decision-making.Prepare financial presentations and reports for senior leadership.Support internal audits, compliance reviews, and process improvements.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive efficiencies and optimize costs.Assist in standardizing financial processes and reporting across the operations function.Participate in ad-hoc financial analysis and special projects as needed.

Additional Qualifications

Education & Experience: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field, with 5+ years of relevant experience in cost accounting, FP&A, or manufacturing finance.Technical Skills: Strong proficiency in financial modeling, data analysis, andAnalytical Mindset: Ability to interpret financial data, identify trends, and provide actionable recommendations.Attention to Detail: Strong accuracy in financial reporting and analysis.Communication Skills: Ability to present financial data clearly to both finance and non-finance stakeholders.Problem-Solving Ability: A proactive approach to identifying and addressing business challenges.Collaboration & Adaptability: Ability to work effectively in a cross-functional, fast-paced environment.Commitment & Drive: A high level of dedication to continuous learning and professional growth within Otis."Can do', positive attitudeStrong PC skills including advanced knowledge of Hyperion Financial Management (HFM), JD Edwards, Smart View, and QlikView preferredAdvanced skills in Excel (Pivot tables, vLookups) and Access
