Job Description

Lunaphore is now part of the Spatial Biology Division of Bio-Techne. Lunaphore provides solutions based on a groundbreaking chip technology that can extract spatial proteomic and transcriptomic data from tumors and other tissues, transforming any assay into multiplex spatial biology with an intuitive approach.

We are looking for a Senior Manager, Global Marketing to lead the Global Marketing team of Lunaphore, a Bio-Techne brand. The Senior Manager, Global Marketing will report to the Senior Director, Product Strategy and Marketing and be responsible for managing the Lunaphore Marketing team, defining the Marketing strategy and targets, and ensuring the execution of the Annual Marketing plan, to increase the visibility and reputation of Lunaphore’s products and feed the sales pipeline across all territories.

Main responsibilities

Define, direct and supervise the strategy and activities of the Marketing team, including its budget, activities, timelines and results. Define and ensure execution of the Annual Marketing Strategy and Tactical Plan.

Establish goals and ensure achievement of sales opportunity generation targets to feed the sales pipeline, by generating high quality leads across a multi-channel strategy, and developing effective nurturing and qualification funnels.

Lead, supervise and review the activities of the Product Marketing team, including the creation of collateral needed for product promotion and educational activities, including product brochures, sales decks, website pages, among other, as well as the planning and execution of promotional campaigns. Regularly monitor Commercial activities and ensure swift response to the needs and requests of the Commercial Team to ultimately increase sales effectiveness.

Lead, supervise and review the activities of the Events team, to ensure Lunaphore’s presence at scientific events, including congresses, webinars, roadshows and seminars, contributing to raising awareness and reputation about the company and its products, and to increase commercial traction.

Lead, supervise and review the activities of the Scientific Marketing team to effectively prioritize, request, forecast and disseminate data, generated both internally and externally, to support Marketing efforts and increase scientific reputation. Ensure the development of scientific marketing collateral such as scientific presentations and posters for events, as well as collateral and tools to support the Commercial Team efforts. 

Lead, supervise and review the Marketing Operations activities, including website and CRM development, lead gen and qualification system architecture and integration, digital marketing activities, as well as regular tracking, reporting and optimization of all Marketing activities across the company.

Ensure effectiveness and compliance with the highest standards of customer-facing communication across the organization, including consistency in product branding and positioning and messaging for optimal product differentiation from the competition, by providing trainings and resource sharing tools to internal teams and external partners.

Build processes and communication channels across different departments of the Lunaphore and other Bio-Techne organizations to ensure strategic alignment, content quality control, coordination and visibility of Marketing efforts.

Position preferably located at Swiss headquarters in Tolochenaz, or can be remote from EMEA. 

Required qualifications

Master degree in Life Sciences or related field, or Degree in Marketing with an excellent level of scientific understanding.

At least 8 years of experience in a Life Sciences Marketing role, working with high-capex products in emerging markets.

A good understanding of spatial biology, single-cell or histopathology fields in research and/or diagnostic markets.

Thorough experience launching and selling products in the academic, biopharma and CRO market segments.

At least 5 years of personnel management experience in an equivalent role, managing mid-sized teams 5-10 people.

Fluent in English, oral and written.
