The Senior Manager, Global Security Awareness and Metrics is a key member of the Global Cyber Security team, responsible for leading and enhancing the security culture and performance of the organization.
The main areas of focus are leading global security awareness, global cyber metrics, and reporting to executive management, senior management and stakeholders.
The position can be based in Tempe or remotely and will report to the Head of Global Security GRC.
Educational RequirementsA bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Cyber Security, Technology, or related field is required.
Work ExperienceAt least four years of experience in managing a global team in IT, Cyber Security, Audit, or Compliance is required.
Previous experience in reporting to various levels (board, senior management, key stakeholders), security awareness, metrics, risk management, and governance are preferred.
ResponsibilitiesThe Senior Manager, Global Security Awareness and Metrics will:
Manage a global team of cyber security professionals, providing guidance, coaching, and feedback. Manage and continue to evolve the Global Cyber Security Awareness program, ensuring alignment with the organization’s values, vision, and strategy. Participate in managing the organization’s risk and demonstrating the value and impact of the security program by providing metrics and reporting to the board, senior management and key stakeholders. Analyze metrics trends and collaborate with Global Cyber Security team members and other areas in IT to improve the security posture, identify gaps, and implement solutions. Participate in identifying strengths and weaknesses in the security program as they relate to privacy, security, business resiliency and compliance frameworks, and monitor developed action plans to ensure completion. Collaborate with Internal Audit and Global Cyber Security to ensure all audit action items for Global Security are completed on time and with quality. Manage the brand protection monitoring process, ensuring timely detection and response to potential threats and incidents. Create and manage budget, ensuring effective allocation and utilization of resources. Oversee the data retention program, which is currently in the implementation phase led by a Program Manager. Engage in continuous learning in emerging security threats, industry trends, standards, and best practices, and share knowledge and best practices with the team and the organization.
SkillsThe Senior Manager, Global Security Awareness and Metrics should have the following skills:
