About the role
The Senior Manager, Human Resources, will be a strategic HR partner, supporting our Culinary Production in a food manufacturing setting and supply chain functions. This role will work closely with production leadership to drive HR initiatives that enhance workforce engagement, talent development, operational efficiency, and compliance with food safety and regulatory requirements.
This leader will play a pivotal role in ensuring seamless HR support across a complex, high-volume production environment, encompassing manufacturing, inventory management, transportation, and warehousing operations. They will develop and execute people strategies that drive efficiency, foster a culture of safety and accountability, and build an engaged workforce to support high-performance operations.
Responsibilities
HR Strategy & Workforce Planning
+ Partner with leadership on workforce planning efforts to ensure staffing meets operational demands.
+ Lead and manage HRBP team, provide guidance, support, and development opportunities
+ Lead and support the design and development of people priorities and serve as a strategic partner to stakeholders and align with business objectives.
+ Implement initiatives to improve employee engagement, retention, and productivity.
Talent Acquisition & Development
+ Collaborate with recruitment teams to ensure effective talent acquisition strategies, particularly addressing unique challenges of hiring and retention of Wonder team members
+ Implement and facilitate programs for leadership development, succession planning, and career pathing to support employee growth and retentio n
Employee Relations & Compliance
+ Serve as a trusted advisor on employee relations matters, ensuring a fair and inclusive workplace.
+ Ensure compliance with labor laws, health and safety regulations, and company policies.
+ Drive proactive employee engagement strategies to maintain a positive work environment.
HR Operations & Performance Management
+ Utilize HR analytics to identify trends and recommend data-driven improvements.
+ Partner with production leaders to implement effective performance management programs.
+ Lead change management initiatives and support organizational development efforts to enhance operational effectiveness and adaptability
What We’re Looking For
+ Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
+ 7+ years of HR experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership role within a production or manufacturing environment.
+ Strong knowledge of labor laws, compliance, and HR best practices.
+ Experience in employee relations, talent development, and performance management.
+ Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
+ Ability to collaborate across teams and influence key stakeholders.
