The Senior Manager, Human Resources for Beckman Coulter Diagnostics is responsible for combining progressive human resources business partnering with program and project management. This role drives people and business growth strategies for the Enabling Functions across Beckman Coulter sites.

This position is remote based with regular travel to the site as part of the Human Resources organization. At Beckman Coulter, our vision is to relentlessly reimagine healthcare, one diagnosis at a time.

You will be a part of the Global Human Resources team and report to the Senior Director, Human Resources responsible for the Enabling Functions (Quality, Regulatory and Clinical Affairs (QRC), Finance, IT, Legal, Strategy & Global Marketing). You will be responsible for the ideation, design, and sustainment of people initiatives and work on local and global projects, benefitting the Enabling Functions team and the overall Human Resources function.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

HRBP:

Serve as the primary HRBP for up to three functions, providing strategic HR support and guidance. Coach and build leadership capability in DE+I, workforce planning, engagement, and talent management and development, driving HR initiatives that align with business objectives to enhance organizational effectiveness and employee experience.

Lead through KPIs, using established tools and creative comparisons of data to change data into actionable information, and then sustained actions.

Create and manage talent development programs, including leadership development, succession planning, and career pathing.

Oversee the performance management process, ensuring it is fair, transparent, and aligned with organizational goals.

Program/Project Management:

Translate business challenges and strategic priorities into actionable tailored HR initiatives by developing and executing comprehensive project plans across the Enabling Functions and effectively prioritize which ones to pursue. Establish clear project plans, milestones and KPIs to monitor progress, adapt strategies as needed, and drive these initiatives to completion in partnership with the relevant HRBPs, COEs and business functions to improve overall business performance.

Foster a continuous improvement mindset by regularly evaluating HR processes and programs across the functions. Identify areas for enhancement, implement best practices, and utilize DBS tools to drive efficiency, consistency, and impactful results.

Anticipate business needs and leverage change management principles to guide stakeholders through change, fostering resilience and adopting new ways of working. Lead businesses through growth, expansion, and workforce development initiatives.

The essential requirements of the job include:

Bachelor’s degree with 14+ years of experience, OR Master’s degree with 12+ years of experience OR Doctoral degree with 9+ years of experience and proficiency in MS Suite

Experience working with senior leaders, using information and influence to successfully navigate change

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to influence and build relationships at all levels of the organization

Strong understanding of HR policies, practices, and employment laws

Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills, with a data-driven approach to decision-making

Ability to manage multiple priorities and projects in a fast-paced environment

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

Demonstrated change agility and prior experience with HR model transformation

Experience in high-tech, manufacturing, and/or FDA regulated industries

Utilizing HR technology and data analytics tools to enhance HR processes and reporting

Travel, Motor Vehicle Record & Physical/Environment Requirements:

25 - 30% per business needs

The salary range OR the hourly range for this role is $150,000 - $180,000. This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. This range may be modified in the future.

This job is also eligible for bonus/incentive pay.
