Your Responsibilities + Develops and nurtures strong business partnerships with internal client group(s). Serves as a primary point of contact for HR related topics and supports the delivery of HR programs and processes. + Balances business needs and associate needs. + Maintains understanding of HR Best Practices. + Facilitates a performance driven culture by leading and administering the performance management process, tracking and reporting. + Collaborates with client group(s) and HR leadership on company-wide and department-specific Organizational Development and Change Management initiatives. + Serves as a counselor and confidante to associates and leaders in assigned client group(s) in areas of Human Resources, with a strong emphasis on coaching and counseling of employee relations issues or concerns. + Partners with client groups to help facilitate and provide successful on-boarding of newly hired, promoted and transferred associates. + Provides effective leadership, consultation and resolution on employee relations issues; encourages a balanced approach and solutions that work best for the company and associates with support from HR Ops Leadership and Legal. + Drives positive changes in people management by identifying and making recommendations on training and development needs of client group(s). Partners with the Learning Organization to develop and deliver Human Resource training and development to enhance the effectiveness of employee performance in achieving the goals and objectives of the client group(s). + Collaborates with the Talent Acquisition team to provide input/feedback into the establishment and development of plans to source, attract and retain employee talent for client group(s). Actively participates in the interview and selection process for open positions. Your Experience, Skills & Competencies + Bachelor’s degree in business, Human Resources, or related field; or equivalent combination of education and work experience. PHR and/or SPHR certification is preferred. + A minimum of 8 years’ experience in Human Resources, or other relevant field; some experience in a corporate HR environment is preferred. + Effective business acumen and ability to align and connect company vision, mission and business objectives with HR strategies and programs. + Proven human relations, negotiation, conflict resolution and problem-solving skills. + Demonstrates key competencies including but not limited to action oriented, drives results, situational adaptability. Your Team This is a leadership role that will report to the Senior Director, People, Performance & Belonging. You will have direct report(s) and collaborate with cross-functional departments on a regular basis. Your Work Location As our Senior Manager, Human Resources, you will be based in our beautiful, state-of-the-art technology hub in Scottsdale, Arizona. Salary Range The salary range for this position is $122,000 to $142,000.00 annually. The pay range listed is for this position and is what Choice Hotels reasonably expects to pay. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range, and the range may be modified in the future. An employee’s pay position within the pay range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, shift, travel requirements, sales or revenue-based metrics, and business or organizational needs.
