We are looking for a Senior Manager to join our fast-growing Infrastructure Advisory team, known in the industry for advising and delivering some of the most innovative projects and procurements in the US. The ideal candidate will be based in the Los Angeles/San Francisco or Oakland office providing advice to our clients related to the procurement, structuring, and financing of a broad range of infrastructure projects (that include transportation, energy, water, telecommunications, and others) with focus on private sector participation and sustainability principles. They will work with public agencies and private sponsors to develop projects and programs from inception to start of construction.
Responsibilities
Lead and support the development and assessment of business cases for greenfield/brownfield projects including P3’s, including analyzing and recommending the optimal project delivery method and working with various client types including developers, investors, debt providers, project sponsors, government agencies. Prepare strategies and develop procurement processes for successful project delivery from early-stage planning through financial closing, construction, and operations. Review and develop financial models (including performing analysis, projections, value for money assessment) for infrastructure project financing transactions, including risk identification, allocation and assessment. Manage multi-disciplinary teams and mentor and develop mid-level/junior staff to develop analytical and consulting skills. Assist clients in managing complex capital project programs, including advising on risk, governance, and organization. Develop, manage, and lead client relationships and engagements by leveraging internal and external resources focusing on quality deliverables. Identify and lead pre-positioning activities for future work and lead proposal efforts and deliver commercial and financial results for the firmQualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in business or finance with over 10 years (or 6+ years with an MBA) of relevant financial advisory and project management experience Experience in infrastructure project delivery, project financing, and expertise in delivering impactful infrastructure projects aligned with a sustainable development agenda. Track-record of leading and managing successful teams across multiple engagements. Specific sector knowledge in project finance, financial modeling, financial statement analysis, and risk management with advanced quantitative skills Knowledge of the commercial and procurement aspects of public-private partnerships and project financing transactions. Excellent commercial, organizational, presentation, and writing skills are required. A range of language skills are an advantage with Spanish fluency a plus. Willing to travel to suit our client’s needs (both domestic and international travel).Hiring Range: The good faith base salary hiring range for this job performed in California is $130,000 and $190,000. Benefits are not included in the base salary range. Summary of benefits are included in this posting with details provided to applicants at the time of interview.
