Job Summary

The Internal Audit Senior Manager will oversee the team that is responsible for all McKesson Canada and McKesson Third Party Logistics (3PL) Financial and Operational related audits. This role will support the Finance and Operational audits of other business units as needed and report to the Senior Director of Internal Audit.

Position Description

This role will be responsible for:

Supporting the creation of the annual Audit Plan and execution, primarily focused on the McKesson Canada and McKesson 3PL business unitsPrimary liaison with McKesson Canada and 3PL Senior Management and Business Unit leadershipEngage in talent recruitment, management, and staff developmentDirect audit engagements with functional peersDirect aspects within engagement planning, including testing strategy development, execution, reporting, and issue monitoring for the audit planCommunicate and collaborate with peers, key business partners and executives in the development and execution of the audit planRepresent and actively participate in relevant councils, committees and/or governance meetingsLead other department initiatives and deliverables to support Internal Audit Leadership

Minimum Requirements

6+ years audit (or equivalent risk function) or business-facing experience,

Critical Skills

Experience in Big 4 audit or an audit department of a Fortune 500 company, preferredMust have broad corporate audit skill set including financial, operational experience.Progressively increasing management responsibilities in audit or equivalent risk management functionAbility to work collaboratively with minimal supervisionAbility to prioritize activities while working on multiple projects with competing deadlinesExcellent leadership skills and ability to manage people in a way that inspires, develops, and delivers resultsDemonstrated track record of integrity, innovation, and excellenceEffective communication (orally and written) and possess strong presentation skills among all levels of management

Preferred Skills & Knowledge

Knowledge of and passion for healthcare industryPrevious supervisory experience in auditHealthcare-specific technologies and compliance requirements (FDA, DEA, DHHS, Health Canada, Privacy (HIPAA/HITECH/PIPEDA))Financial accounting principles and terms, as well as core business process knowledgeProficiency in Microsoft Office products (i.e., Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, Access, Visio and Project)Excellent executive presenceStrong project management and critical thinking skillsStrong staff management skills 

Education
4-year degree in business or related fields such as computer science, management information systems, accounting, or finance or equivalent experience.  MBA a plus.

General Office Demands; Willingness to travel up to 10-20% of the time

Our Base Pay Range for this position

$105,100 - $175,100
