Southern Veterinary Partners (SVP) is regional network of animal hospitals with the common goal of providing the highest quality veterinary care to companion animals. SVP currently owns over 400 locations around the country, is acquiring 5+ new locations per month, and is sponsored by a leading private equity team. SVP is looking to add a Senior Manager of Investor Relations to the growing accounting & finance team. The Senior Manager of Investor Relations will assist Senior Leadership and Management in managing crucial communication and various processes with our investors and various external stakeholders. The Investor Relations Senior Manager will be responsible for managing direct communication with our investors, coordinating and preparing investor update presentations, working with Senior Leadership on investor matters, assisting our Tax Department with our tax distribution and state tax election processes, and playing an integral role in the cap table management process . The ideal candidate has extremely effective communication and presentation skills (verbal, written, and graphic) and the ability to develop and maintain business relationships. This candidate has a strong understanding of financial data, reports, analytics, and financial data tools. This candidate will be the primary face of SVP to our investors on an ongoing basis. Responsibilities Be the primary point of contact to our investors and various external stakeholders, in which expert communication skills (verbal, written, and graphic) will be utilized on a daily basis Work closely with Senior Leadership, the Director of Financial Reporting, and our Tax Department on various shareholder and tax matters, information requests, legal agreements, approvals, etc. Be responsible for facilitating large investor conference calls and meetings, in which you will facilitate the coordination of the meeting and creation of the PowerPoint presentations for each meeting Responsible for various shareholder content, including frequently asked questions and process overviews Assist our Tax Department with quarterly tax distributions and our state tax election process, which requires gathering sensitive information from investors Maintain and reconcile the Company’s capital records and assessing the details of various agreements Champion the implementation of a new cap table management software and seeking continuous technological improvements in all investor-related workstreams Manage internal records for all of our investors, which must be thoroughly organized and up to date This individual has the technical acumen to understand complex business issues but articulate them in a digestible way that are easy to understand Work with our Senior Leadership team and counsel on continuous governance and compliance. Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Communications or a related field; Master’s preferred Preferred experience in investor relations, public relations, accounting, finance, or legal/ regulatory for 7+ years Expert communication skills and customer service are imperative SEC experience preferred Advanced Excel skills and working with large amounts of data Outstanding presentation, reporting, and communication skills Benefits Work with an organization recognized as #1 in Healthcare by Newsweek’s Most Loved Workplaces in 2024.
