Provide leadership and coaching with the development and implementation of lean manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives within Roper Corporation, a GE Appliances’ manufacturing affiliate facility. Drive positive change by developing a culture of teams that proactively eliminate waste and continuously improve Safety, Quality, and Cost metrics. This role is 100% onsite. **Position** Senior Manager, Lean Manufacturing **Location** USA, LaFayette, GA **How You'll Create Possibilities** + **Strategic Planning and Development:** + Set a strategic direction to address operational gaps and promote continuous improvement. + Incorporate APS guiding principles as a foundational philosophy. + Establish a roadmap for APS structure, implementation, and enhancement. + Enable strategy deployment and hoshin planning with a deep understanding of organizational goals and strategies. + Collaborate on developing measurement systems and reporting to support continuous improvement. + **Lead Plant Improvement Activities:** + Develop and manage the Lean Plan and projects for the plant. + Communicate the Lean Hoshin Plan and prioritize resources for execution. + Lead teams in problem identification, root cause analysis, solution design and testing, and implementation. + Improve process quality and capacity by guiding teams to execute lean plans that reduce cycle time, inventory, and waste. + Apply lean-based APS methods and tools to promote continuous improvement and consistency in the operating model. **What You'll Bring to Our Team** + Bachelor’s degree (BS, BA , BSEE, BSME, BSIE). + 5 years of experience working within a manufacturing environment in roles of increasing responsibility and influence. + 3 years of experience utilizing Lean techniques and tools within a high-volume production operation. + Strong project management skills to independently develop, manage, lead and implement aggressive project plans. **Our Culture** At GE Appliances, creativity meets passion and conversations lead to exceptional outcomes and experiences.
