Senior Manager, Learning & Development
Senior Manager, Learning & Development City Irving State/Province Texas Overview:

The Global Learning and Development leader will be responsible for designing and enabling Celanese's global learning and development philosophy and strategy. Leveraging experience in a high growth, fast-paced environment, this individual will lead a team of learning and development professionals to build and deploy high-impact, scalable solutions that support the growth and development of our talent at all levels of the organization in alignment with business objectives. In this highly collaborative role, this leader will partner with peers in the Talent Management center of excellence as well as business leaders and HRBPs to understand the needs of the organization and enable solutions that meet the needs of the organization and advance talent global management priorities.

Responsibilities:

Set and lead the global development strategy:

Work with cross functional partners such as business leaders, HRBPs, DE&I, Communications, and Talent Management peers to identify and understand talent development priorities for the organization Design, communicate and execute a global learning and development strategy and roadmap that develops the skills, competencies and capabilities needed for future success  Direct both internal and external resources to support the build and delivery of compelling learning programs and initiatives, ensuring both regional adaptability and scalabilitySet and manage the global development budget including identifying needed investments in resources or vendor partnerships and contracts within budgetAssess leading practices in the marketplace around talent programs, finding opportunities to adapt and integrate these practices to meet the needs of the businessDefine and measure key metrics and leverage qualitative feedback to optimize programs and report out on the impact and efficacy of initiatives

Evolve the learning model:

Advance the learning model for the organization including governance, standards and ways of working in alignment with key business stakeholdersPartner with IT to implement and improve learning technology solutions that enable our learning and development philosophy and strategy and optimize the learning experience for employees within budgetProvide learning strategy consultation and expertise to HR business partners and business leaders to address segment or functional learning & development needsFoster and enable an ongoing learning and development culture

Create targeted development solutions:

Lead the design, development and implementation of innovative and high impact learning and development solutions that span the employee lifecycle in support of strategic goals and objectivesLead the team to create and deploy differentiated learning and development solutions for individual contributors, managers, and executivesBuild and manage tools that enable effective development planning throughout the organizationPartner with DE&I and Community partners to develop targeted programs that align with organizational prioritiesOwn the employee onboarding experience and content ensuring a best-in-class program for new hiresOversee the execution of LMS administration and governance.

Qualifications:

Must-Haves: 

Bachelor’s Degree with 7+ years of relevant experience OR 10+ years of Global Learning and Development experience. Instructional Design Experience PowerPoint and able to show Metrics of Success Budgeting Multi-Site ExperienceCollaborative: works effectively across the organization, bringing together people and ideas to create stronger results.Strong communication and interpersonal skills, effective vendor and client management skills.Ability to prioritize and multi-task in a global fast-paced environment.Excellent project management skills and experience with proven success.Strong attention to detail, systems and processes with a high level of business acumen.
