This position is for a Senior Manager, Manufacturing Engineering position within Operations and the Manufacturing Design & Central Services (MDCS) Process Engineering Team. The Senior Manager, Manufacturing Engineering is responsible for leading a support team consisting of Technical Leads and Process Engineers. The successful candidate will report to the Department Manager and will be accountable for providing functional support and leadership expertise to the Central Services Team through the management of approximately 15 - 20 engineers. The Senior Manager will be responsible for coaching and training Engineers in Process Engineering skills and processes in addition to mentoring and providing career guidance and performance reviews.
The Senior Manager is the producibility expert and acts as the approving authority for the associated manufacturing process. The Senior Manager is responsible for the technical quality of engineering tasks and must ensure the proper processes and technical oversight are completed. The Senior Manager is also expected to support proposal activities and provide cost estimates for program bids and fiscal year planning.

Qualifications You Must Have
Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 10 years of prior relevant experience unless prohibited by local laws/regulationsExperience in a manufacturing/test environmentExperience in leading a team and projectsActive and transferable U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
