We at Master Lock are currently seeking a Senior Manger, Manufacturing Finance in our high-volume Nogales, Sonora.
Job DescriptionAs the Senior Manager – Manufacturing Finance, you will partner with the Security Business leadership team by providing financial perspective and decision-making support to drive best in class performance. In this role, you will manage the operations finance and accounting teams and be responsible for the financial reporting of Nogales operations. This includes 2 Manufacturing facilities in Nogales MX. Additionally, this role will partner with operations leadership supporting 2 Security distribution centers (Nogales, AZ & Louisville KY), and support our Emtek business HQ in LA, CA. You will focus on a strong internal control environment by ensuring compliance with GAAP, SOX and Fortune Brands Accounting Policies and Procedures.
RESPONSIBLIITIES:
Plan, organize and coordinate all plant/DC cost, fixed asset, inventory control, and manufacturing/Distribution reporting to ensure accurate and timely reporting of financial results Lead the budgeting process, including forecasting and variance analysis across each site/DC.Partner with leaders at the plants/DC’s to build a strong and effective relationship Reporting and analysis of financial data including understanding business processes, trends and key performance indicators Be engaged and have leadership in a successful month-end close processAssist in interpretation and resolution of operating variances with operations leadershipOrganize and coordinate annual budget preparationWorking across finance/ops/accounting and IT teams to implementation, application and continued improvement of financial processes and proceduresProvide clarity on variable cost changes and progress toward operations’ continuous improvement initiativesLead the manufacturing finance/accounting team - Perform and/or coordinate yearly performance reviews including assistance in career development where appropriateIdentify opportunities to reduce costs and improve productivity across the plants with operations teamLead in maintaining and improving processes in accordance with Sarbanes-Oxley legislationConduct ad hoc financial analysis to aid in critical business decisions.Ownership of End-to-End Compliance (Regulatory, Statutory, Tax, Audit, and other relevant Industrial Laws in Mexico and USA)QualificationsBASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance or related field is required.5-7+ years’ experience in finance and/or accounting required. 7+ years of experience preferred.5+ years’ experience in a manufacturing Plant finance and/or Cost accounting experience preferred, FP&A experience a plus.Knowledge of Maquiladora operation, and local tax lawsBilingual – English/Spanish speaking.Highly skilled in building valued partnerships with stakeholders, communicating effectively, influencing senior leaders, leading change, applying emotional intelligence, assessing talent, and employing automation.PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Ability to identify opportunities and implement process improvementsStrong organizational and communication skillsExperience with ERP systems, Oracle preferredProficiency in ExcelAdditional Information
