Senior Manager, Media Strategy & Planning

This is your chance to be part of a world-class Marketing team at a top global hospitality company!  As Senior Manager, Media Strategy & Planning, you will support the Marketing team in driving preference for the Hilton portfolio of brands, increasing customer loyalty, and supporting revenue and commercial goals through an optimized multi-channel media strategy.  Reporting to the Director of Media Strategy & Planning, you will lead media strategy for key campaigns, manage our agency of record on planning and execution, and create executive-level storytelling around campaign impact.

HOW YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACT

Your role is important and below are some of the fundamental job duties that make your work unique.

\n

What your day-to-day will be like:

\n\nYou will develop and handle campaign media strategy and foster innovation with new thinking in partnership with Media agency of record and internal partners.\nYou will test emerging media tactics and iterate based on learnings.\nYou will merchandise campaign plans and results to team leaders, demonstrating an understanding of the role media plays within a marketing narrative across the purchase journey.\n\n

How you will collaborate with others:

\n\nYou will work cross-functionally and cross-regionally with partners to achieve common goals, share takeaways and standard methodologies, and pull projects forward. \nYou will collaborate with team members across Content, Partnerships, Social, and Public Relations teams\nYou will manage the relationship with the media agency of record \nYou will represent Hilton through sales rep community relationships. \nYou will be a leader within the broader team and a mentor to team members. \nYou will manage one (1) direct report. \n\n

Manage holistic, multi-channel media planning and strategy for the Hilton portfolio

WHY YOU'LL BE A GREAT FIT

\n

You have these minimum qualifications:

\n\nSeven (7) years of work experience. Preferably with an advertising or media agency, corporate media role, or in a similar working environment \nExperience working across all media channels including TV, Video, Audio, Social, Digital, Outdoor, Print, and other non-traditional media \nExperience leading and delegating to others (agency partners, direct reports, mentoring) \n25% travel \nHybrid work schedule from McLean, VA or Addison, TX office (3 days per week) \n\n

It would be useful if you have:

\n\nUnderstanding of the programmatic digital landscape, advanced TV tactics, and how to use audience/data targeting tactics \nUnderstanding of the social media landscape \nProject management experience, managing several projects across critical yet often fluctuating deadlines \nActive interest in professional development activities to stay current on industry knowledge \n\n\n
