Key Responsibilities:

Market Expertise DevelopmentConduct in-depth market research to build expertise in strategic target markets, identifying key trends, competitive landscapes, and growth potentialEstablish and share market insights to guide strategy and decision-making.

Opportunity IdentificationSearch for and identify specific acquisition targets aligned with strategic objectivesEvaluate acquisition opportunities, ensuring they meet growth, market share, and revenue acceleration criteriaUpstream Marketing ResponsibilitiesPartner with APAC R&D teams to drive early-stage product concept development and prioritize innovation based on market insightsConduct Voice of Customer (VOC) initiatives to gather insights and define unmet needsDevelop business cases for new product opportunities in APAC, including market sizing, competitive analysis, and revenue forecastsIdentify trends in customer preferences and technology adoption to inform APAC product development strategiesCollaboration and AlignmentPartner with APAC leadership, local country teams, and global divisions to align BD and APAC upstream marketing initiatives with broader organizational goalsWork closely with the APAC MedSurg marketing team to integrate BD and product development opportunities into the regional strategy

Minimum Qualifications (Required):

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related fieldMinimum of 7 years of experience in strategic marketing, business development, or a related role in the MedTech or healthcare industryDemonstrated experience in market research, competitive analysis, and opportunity assessmentProven ability to gather and translate customer insights into actionable strategiesStrong analytical and communication skills

Preferred Qualifications (Strongly desired):

Experience in mergers and acquisitions or corporate strategyRegional experience in APAC marketsProven ability to work in a matrixed, cross-functional environment
