Key Area of Responsibility:
Develop merchandising strategy to drive business growth
Plan the APAC strategy with global consistency and APAC market needsWork with global team for seasonal product plan and GTM milestonesBe a strong advocate for APAC product needs (e.g. seasonal collaborations) to support business growth Drive product efficiency and productivity, develop channel segmentation with key focus in ChinaIdentify product and category opportunities based on consumer insights, market study and call-outs from business teamManage APAC retail pricing structure and gross margin, closely monitor competitor’s pricing strategy and product performanceSupport key distributors (Korea, Japan and Thailand) on product request (e.g. Japan Exclusive)Analyze product performance for key learnings and plan for next seasonSet the product assortment and strategy, work closely with Buying and Planning team for seasonal planLead and coach Merchandising team, set individual and team goals, provide guidance and regular feedback to develop talentKnow-how and Competency Requirements
