The Senior Manager, Network Services for Beckman Coulter Diagnostics is responsible for all aspects of the global network infrastructure, including strategy , people and budget management, daily operation, and project execution. This position is part of the Enterprise Technical Services located in Brea - California and will be on-site. You will be leading the Global Network Services and Network Security teams and report to the Director of IT Infrastructure responsible for Global Network Services, Cloud & System Services, Unified Communications & Collaboration, Site Support-Americas, Service Desk, and Major Incident Management . In this role, you will have the opportunity to: + Work closely with IT leadership and the Beckman Coulter business to establish strategy and technical roadmap to deliver value driven modern network services. + Provide leadership, vision and guidance to the network and network security teams, developing their skills and capabilities and proactively forecasting capacity and hiring. + Improve service delivery processes to maximize efficiency, suggesting/implementing improvements to network services while ensuring customer satisfaction and timely delivery. + Lead problem solving and root cause analysis in a complex IT environment that spans on-prem and multi-cloud geographies. The essential requirements of the job include: + Bachelor’s degree with 14+ years of experience or Master’s/Doctoral degree with 12+ years of experience. + Related experience includes 4+ years managing people. + Technical background in network engineering at an ISP or large corporate environment. + Hands on experience with various network technologies including WAN routing, SDWAN , enterprise and datacenter LAN s, Wireless LANs, application load balancing, firewall , access control and network segmentation. + Functional knowledge in at least three of the following networking vendors: Juniper, Palo Alto, SilverPeak , Aruba, MIST, F5. + Proven experience with network design and architecture. It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in: + Implementing IT/OT segmentation in a manufacturing environment such as Purdue model, ISA/IEC 62443 standards, or NIST 8183A. + Exposure to other IT infrastructure domains such as System Services (Windows, Linux), Cloud Services (AWS, Azure) , Collaboration Tools (Office 365, Teams, Sharepoint). + Network automation tools such as Ansible or Chef, scripting using Python, Bash, or any other tools for automating mass changes on network/security devices in a large environment. The salary range for this role is $160k-$180k. This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future.
