As a Senior Manager, New Business Success for Target+, you will lead a team of account managers to drive overall category growth and profitability. By leveraging your category expertise, data-driven insights, and strategic vision, you will shape assortment planning, pricing strategies, and merchandising initiatives to achieve GMV (Gross Merchandise Volume) and profit goals while expanding market share. This pivotal role will require collaboration across teams in India and the US, ensuring alignment with broader organizational objectives and delivering an exceptional guest experience. 1. Strategic Collaboration and Oversight:
Act as a strategic bridge between India and US Target+ teams, fostering cohesion and alignment across priorities.
Drive GMV, profit growth, and an elevated guest experience through seamless communication and partnership with internal and external stakeholders.
2. Data-Driven Business Analytics:
Monitor and analyze KPIs across channels to assess category performance, market trends, and guest behavior.
Use insights to identify opportunities for market share growth, seller acquisition, and future category innovations.
3. Guest Experience Excellence:
Guide partner teams in delivering superior guest experiences through optimized assortments, services, and promotions.
Collaborate across functions such as Acquisition, Site Experience, Services, and Operations to ensure a holistic approach to guest satisfaction.
4. Vendor Relationship Management:
Build and nurture relationships with strategic vendors through joint business planning and consistent engagement.
Partner with vendors to develop assortment strategies, promotional plans, pricing insights, and inventory management practices to optimize platform performance.
5. Financial Acumen and P&L Management:
Lead forecasting, profit and loss (P&L) management, balancing growth, and efficiency to maximize category profitability.
Use analytical insights to inform decision-making, drive revenue, and improve operational efficiency.
6. Leadership and Team Development:
Inspire and mentor your team to achieve business objectives while supporting their professional growth.

About you: What are we looking for
Minimum 8-10 years of experience in merchandising strategy, forecasting, financial planning, and product selection (including managing and maintaining an open-to-buy and developing strong business relationships with sellers/vendors and industry leaders).
3+ years of experience effectively leading, managing and developing people with category expertise
5+ years managing an ecommerce business, with specific experience related to marketing and site experience and optimization preferred
Any 3–4-year college degree. MBA would be a plus, but not mandatory
A strategic thinker with deep category management expertise and a proven track record in driving business growth.
Exceptional analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data and translate insights into actionable strategies.
Effective communication and collaboration skills to align cross-functional teams across geographies.

The role would require working during cross-over timings with US partner teams
