Senior Manager, Performance Management & Reporting

Position Summary

Aetna Transformation Solutions is comprised of Value Pool Enablement strategic investment management and the Member Experience and NPS improvement. Additional scope includes providing governance and management reporting for multiple enterprise programs and investment portfolios.

Value Pool Enablement is Aetna’s actively managed strategic investment management approach. The program is designed to optimize outcomes of the organizations cross functional strategic investments through timely transparency to results, dedicated yet matrixed leadership structure, cost-structure orientation, and ability to prioritize and balance short-and long-term impacts.

This is a highly visible role, which will require close collaboration with senior leadership across the enterprise, with results utilized by senior leadership to manage the Aetna investment portfolio to execute of the Aetna key strategic themes.

The purpose of this position is to ensure Aetna Transformation Solutions is tracking to achieve its primary goals:

Maximize impact of VPE’s investment portfolioImprove Aetna’s cost structureDeliver cross-functional capabilities to execute Aetna’s strategy

Additional responsibilities include the following:

Lead regular working sessions with Transformation Solution team to drive prioritiesDesign dashboards and reports for various stakeholders, data deep dives for transformation solutions meetings as requiredGenerate critical insights and actionable data for diverse stakeholdersDevelop and implement strategy for the program team, including develop a robust risk mitigation planGenerate input to financial metrics, value realization, and other reports for executive leadership on program performanceSupports consistent and organized communication to organization and key stakeholders

**This is a hybrid role working onsite at any of the CVS hubs 3 days a week (Tues, Wed,Thurs) **


Required Qualifications

7 years’ experience in business operations, project management, implementations, or business process development


Preferred Qualifications

Proficiency with MS Office Suite Applications, such as Teams, Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, Visio, OneNote, and SharePoint Portfolio management and analytical skills required to assist in the rationalization and prioritization of investments. Utilize quantitative skills to maximize portfolio based on:

Strategic relevanceValidation of benefit assumptionsCarry-over initiatives and incremental funding impactIn-year benefit potentialNear- and long-term accretionP&L impacts and affordability 

Project/program expertise in stakeholder facilitations and relationship management

Strong financial acumen; CFA or similar credentials a plus

Strong written communication skills

Strong organization and time management skills



Education

BS degree (or equivalent experience)

Appropriate licensure or certification by discipline preferred

Pay Range

The typical pay range for this role is:

$79,200.00 - $174,200.00


This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls.  The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors.  This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.  This position also includes an award target in the company’s equity award program.
