The opportunity: Contract Manufacturing The Senior Manager, Procurement will be responsible for sourcing, supplier management, cost optimization, and strategic partnerships for contract manufacturing. This role will focus on developing supplier relationships and ensuring quality and compliance across the supplier base and manufacturing operations. Additionally, the individual will drive process standardization, continuous process improvement, and value creation by improving Total Cost of Ownership, across the enterprise. How you will impact Smurfit Westrock: * Manage supplier relationships, including performance management, risk assessments and continuous improvement initiatives * Collaborate with cross-functional teams, such as Operations, Planning, and Logistics, to align capabilities with business needs * Monitor market trends and supply chain risks to mitigate potential disruptions * Improve supply chain assurance through a thorough understanding of market drivers that impact the timely delivery of goods and services to our manufacturing sites for the best value. * Drive the standardization of procurement processes through stakeholder engagement and alignment across all business segments to ensure we optimize our purchasing power and create transactional efficiency.
