About the Role

Workday is looking for an experienced Senior Manager, Business Intelligence who will own the development and ongoing management of the procurement data strategy which supports and empowers stakeholders. This is a people leader role who will sit within the Global Procurement Office (GPO) and will report into the Senior Director, Procurement Center of Excellence.

Responsibilities

Partner with leaders across the Global Procurement Organization (GPO) to deeply understand business goals and processes, develop catered solutions that deliver consumable data and insights to drive business decisions, and promote adoption

Inform the long term strategic roadmap of GPO through their analysis on departmental and process opportunities

Identify and develop use cases for advanced and predictive analytics

Responsible for the development of a team of data analysts who own the execution of the data strategy, delivering spend reporting for the executive team, providing ad hoc reports, and creating self-service data solutions for the organization

About You

Basic Qualifications

8+ years of experience in Data Analytics, Data Science or Business Intelligence roles.

5+ years of hands-on experience with visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, Business Objects, or similar.

3+ years of people leadership experience

Experience working in a Procurement organization utilizing strong understanding of the Source-to-Pay process.
 

Other Qualifications

Master's degree in computer science, data science, statistics, applied mathematics, or cognitive science is preferred.

Ability to work with large amounts of information, see the ‘bigger picture’, and align insights to strategic goals.

Strong critical thinking and business curiosity, including advanced analytical and problem solving skills, strong ability to work with complex and detailed data to drive insights and decisions.

Masterful storytelling abilities.

Exceptional ability to visually present and communicate data, analyses, and findings.

Demonstrable understanding of business requirements gathering (e.g., identifying and mapping business needs to application capabilities).

Effective communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills.

Excellent attention to detail to ensure the highest level of quality in reports & data analysis.

Proactive, result oriented, with a can-do attitude in meeting critical deliverables.


Workday Pay Transparency Statement

The annualized base salary ranges for the primary location and any additional locations are listed below.  Workday pay ranges vary based on work location. As a part of the total compensation package, this role may be eligible for the Workday Bonus Plan or a role-specific commission/bonus, as well as annual refresh stock grants. Recruiters can share more detail during the hiring process. Each candidate’s compensation offer will be based on multiple factors including, but not limited to, geography, experience, skills, job duties, and business need, among other things. Primary Location Base Pay Range: $183,700 USD - $275,500 USD


 

Additional US Location(s) Base Pay Range: $155,100 USD - $275,500 USD
