What you'll do...
We are looking for a Senior Manager, Product Management who has the passion to build a team, develop talent, lead and direct building large-scale, complex, multi-year product and data/ML roadmaps across organizations, executives, stakeholders, with the ability to influence partner teams, data scientists, ML engineers, and software developers.
A successful candidate will have an established background in managing a product team and launching software or services, hands on data science, AI, ML, technical background or experience driving technical products, an entrepreneurial background, and a passion for great customer-centric online products.
Your work will have direct impact on Walmart’s top-line revenue and bottom-line profit and you will have a direct impact on the business goals of Fortune #1 company. This role also offers a unique opportunity to innovate and improve on ways to use Walmart’s e-comm & omni-channel products like Scan & Go, Walmart Stores and external data to solve problems.
About the team:
The Payments Intelligence team optimizes billions of payments through advanced analytics and machine learning. We build and operate a real-time data platform that powers revenue growth, fraud prevention, and enhanced customer experiences across Payments, Directed Spend, Checkout, and promotions. Our team is responsible for developing and deploying ML models that improve payment authorization rates, strengthen payment resiliency, and increase the effectiveness of promotions and rewards programs. We also drive adoption of Directed Spend by providing actionable insights.
Our team supports cross divisional programs for Transactional Systems as a part of the Global Tech organization.

Experience building/managing a team of product managers, build the right talent and skillsAbility to set clear goals and deliver results.Min of 11+ years of relevant work in product and people management, owning and driving end-to-end product roadmapExperience in payments or retail or financial services industry as technical product manager.Experience in leveraging data science (AI and ML) to build platform resiliency and drive revenue growth, customer success.Managing multiple stakeholders and influencing with an ability to lead, drive consensus and deliver in a matrix organization.Passion for technology, willingness to dive deep into the technical products Walmart is building, and commitment to learning and expanding technical knowledgeAn understanding of ML platforms, large-scale systems, and service-oriented architectureDemonstrated ability to communicate complex technical issues clearly and convincingly to a wide range of audiences., manage tradeoffs and evaluate opportunistic new ideas with internal and external partners.Ability to dig into data and story tell based on the analysis.
