We have an immediate opening for an innovative Switchgear (SWGR) Product Line Manager to join our team. This role reports directly to the General Manager. In addition to overseeing the global Switchgear segment of the Thomson Power System business, the SWGR Product Line Manager will have the autonomy to define the future of the switchgear product offering from a technology and strategic perspective while driving rapid market expansion and profitable growth. 

YOUR MISSION 

Strategize, develop and implement innovative growth strategies for the Thomson’s SWGR business segment. 

Develop best in class go-to market strategies to drive market growth and window to market expansion. 

Define the future of Thomson’ SWGR product offering by developing a market differentiated SWGR product roadmap. Ensure product sustainability via aftermarket product offerings. 

Lead marketing efforts to support SWGR commercial expansion in targeted markets. 

Drive effective collaboration between key external stakeholders to deliver annual financial objectives. 

Ensure product safety, quality, sustainability and cost efficiency. 

Achieve annual financial goals through collaboration with both operation and commercial teams.  

Develop a strong understanding of market dynamics and identify growth opportunities by capitalizing on market gaps and customer pain points.  

Build a culture of integrity, inclusion, engagement, responsibility, transparency and performance 

ARE YOU THE ONE? 

Required Education, Experience and Skills: 

A Bachelor Degree in Electrical Engineering or Power Engineering or equivalent. 

7+ years of experience in the Power Generation Industry (or similar industry). 

In depth understanding of SWGR products and SWGR market dynamics.  

Innovative and practical mindset with exceptional leadership abilities. 

Must have a passion for technology, innovation, and customer engagement. 

Responsible, self-motivated, exemplary work ethic, excellent time management and strong interpersonal skills 

Exceptional Technical written and verbal communication skills. 

Must be a team player and have ability to interface with various cross functional teams  

Ability to lead a technical team and effectively lead a stage-gate product development process. 

Advanced proficiency of Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint) 

Ability to work independently 

Ability to travel within North America
