The Senior Manager is the primary liaison for all marketing activities relating to the products he/she is responsible for. This individual works directly with the Vice President to create product segmentation/positioning models, define the competitive landscape, develop go-to-market strategies, and manage the product lifecycle roadmap. The Senior Manager is also responsible for interfacing with Samsung’s direct and indirect sales channels, including internal sales teams, retailers, and distributors. This individual will provide these customers with the direction and materials required to carry out approved marketing programs. This position will lead the product marketing function for a segment of Samsung's Audio business. The Senior Manager will be responsible for marketing program design and execution, new product launch, channel sales support, overall product lifecycle management, achievement of sales/market share goals, and the exercise of P&L responsibility. This person should be an expert at collaborative forecasting by fully understanding input from the Sales team and the upcoming market conditions. This person will prepare weekly unit forecasts (AP2) based on analysis of channel inventory, sell-through history, future promotions, competitive activity, and seasonality by model and key account. To do this, this person will need to work closely with Sales Operations, assisting in weekly sales forecasts and product allocations.

Minimum Qualifications
10+ years relevant industry experience; product/brand marketing and communication skills coupled with CE industry knowledge are requiredExperience working with both National and Regional retail (including pureplay.com and retail.com) accounts is requiredProduct lifecycle management experience, particularly in product launch and channel inventory management, is requiredP&L management experience is requiredStrong Microsoft Office skills (e.g., Excel, PowerPoint, Word) requiredBachelor’s degree required; MBA preferredAbility to effectively lead negotiations and define programs with customers and partnersUnderstanding of Circana, and other market data tracking services is preferred#LI-RL1
