We are looking to hire a Senior Manager, Program Management to join our team.

What You Will Do

Acts as Business Advisor to internal customers; employs business acumen and experience to provide market knowledge, supply chain solutions, and proactive support to key programsPlans and leads negotiation with suppliersCollaborates with Supply Chain Contracts and Legal to establish terms and conditions that reduce risk to CollinsLeads management of highly complex subcontractsManages contract performance for conformance to original proposal and program baselineBriefs Senior Leadership as required, attends cadence reviews with suppliers and/or upper managementResponsible for multiple subcontract products and services on an assigned program. This includes overseeing design and development scope, production, and may include service, support, and product enhancement effortsMakes supplier visits as required to enforce adherence to contract, requirements, and schedulesServes as primary contact for internal customers; charged with building and maintaining relationship with program managementActs as official company and contracts management representative regarding legal requirements, customer specifications and government regulationsSearches out and investigates qualified suppliers and manufacturersDevelops new supply sources where neededActs independently to determine methods and procedures on new or special assignmentsAssignments are often self-directed with very little supervisionDevelops solutions to problems of unusual complexity which require a high degree of ingenuity, creativity, and innovativenessChallenges are frequently unique, and solutions may serve as precedent for future decisions. Qualifications You Must Have

Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 10 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 7 years of experience or in absence of a degree, 14 years of relevant experience U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract ​

The salary range for this role is 124,000 USD - 250,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Hired applicants may be eligible for benefits, including but not limited to, medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, long-term disability, 401(k) match, flexible spending accounts, flexible work schedules, employee assistance program, Employee Scholar Program, parental leave, paid time off, and holidays. Specific benefits are dependent upon the specific business unit as well as whether or not the position is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement.

Hired applicants may be eligible for annual short-term and/or long-term incentive compensation programs depending on the level of the position and whether or not it is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance.

This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
