Senior Manager, Project Management - US Commercial Learning & Development

General Description:
Reporting to the Director, Commercial Learning and Development Operations, the Senior Manager, Project Management is a training role responsible for ensuring the timely development, delivery, and deployment of various projects and programs offered by the Commercial Learning and Development department. Candidate will be responsible for, but not limited to providing operational and team support for product training initiatives, leadership programs, and market access training.
The Senior Manager, Project Management will communicate and collaborate within the department and with cross-functional partners to ensure project roles and responsibilities are understood, timelines met, and projects completed on time and on budget.
Essential Functions:
+ Implement best practices in project management to ensure timely and successful execution of initiatives and RACI implementations within team for seamless process flow.
+ Develop and manage project timelines.
+ Ensure meeting agendas highlight critical business needs, progress-to-date, strategic alignment, and drive support for decision-making across cross-functional stakeholders.
+ Draft meeting minutes and circulate action items post virtual and live meetings.
+ Provide project updates and reminders to team members and cross-functional partners.
+ Assist and support in the development of project update presentations.
+ Partner with Director on the representation of department processes and operations such as annual/quarterly budgeting and monthly accruals, long-range planning, tracking performance against spend, and supporting enhancement of existing processes and policies.
+ Support the organization and execution of Commercial Learning and Development off-site events.
Minimum Requirements – Education and Experience:
+ Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in life sciences or business, with a minimum of 7 years pharmaceutical and/or healthcare related industry experience required or Master’s Degree, preferably in life sciences or business, with a minimum of 5 years pharmaceutical and/or healthcare related industry experience required.
Other Qualifications:
+ Project management professional certificate preferred (PMP).
+ Minimum of 3 years of experience in project management, preferably within a commercial organization of a pharmaceutical company or holding a strategic/operational lead role in a pharmaceutical company.
+ Strong organizational and project management experience, including superior planning skills and having the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
+ Demonstrated ability to synthesize and communicate high-level insights effectively internally; experience in supporting distribution of communications.
+ Demonstrated ability to deliver in a dynamic, rapidly evolving environment with competing priorities; ability to think critically about issues and understand context and likely challenges.
+ Agile Project Management Certification a plus
+ Strong consultative skills to achieve impact, influence outcomes, and maximize effective communication to ensure deadlines are met.
+ Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to “flex” across different types of cultures, work, complexities, business situations and matrix partners.
+ Ability to work independently and on a team; positive, team-focused approach is essential
+ Proven leadership skills/high level of accountability
Supervisory Responsibilities: None
Travel: Remote role with travel dependent on business need
Computer Skills:
+ Highly skilled in M365 (PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Teams, SharePoint, OneNote) and various other platforms.
+ Adept at using project management platforms such as Smartsheet, Microsoft Project, or Cognota
+ Experience with complex analytical and learning technologies/platforms
