You will be the voice of finance in the decision-making process around sales strategy, customer forecasting, reporting, commercial initiatives, pricing, promotional planning & optimization, and development of the Annual Operating Plan (AOP). You will have significant autonomy, responsibility, and ownership. **Functions and duties of this role include, but not limited to:** + Be the right hand to the Sales VP to set and align the finance agenda for sales. + Develop and implement the annual operating plan (AOP), lead sales reporting and regular financial reviews with the sales team. + Analyze business results, identify opportunities and risks, and recommend actions to drive incremental sales. + Hold governance on ~$200M of trade spends – monitoring vs budgeted trade rates, implement trade strategy in line with customer tiering and minimizing channel conflicts. + Oversee customer/channel P&L preparation, review with sales leads and drive actions to improve profitability. + Develop and drive implementation and adoption of new tools for forecasting, promotional optimization, and deduction management. + Own relationship with Order to Cash (O2C) team, including partnering on process improvement initiatives. + Lead initiatives to reduce working capital. + Strengthen sales controls and compliance, including designing and implementing new processes to ensure budget control. + Coach and support the growth of direct reports to be trusted business partners. **Qualifications:** + Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance. + 8+ years of commercial finance experience in CPG environment (preferred), including 3+ supervisory. Must lead, develop, coach, and manage Team Member(s). + Motivated self-starter who sets and drives a change agenda and likes to build, with a hands-on, roll-up-your sleeves approach.  + Commercial acumen, excellent analytical, problem-solving, verbal, and written communication, and negotiation skills. + Considers internal and external business context and end-to-end business processes holistically (product development, supply chain, marketing, sales). + Able to translate complex financial analysis into simple, easily digested messages to stakeholders, provide actionable recommendations and influence executive decision making. + Proven ability to lead and develop team members, and work effectively with finance counterparts and cross-functional teams at all levels of the organization. + Manages multiple priorities and works under time constraints and deadlines. + Operates independently with light supervision as a player and a coach. + Strong technical and systems capabilities. Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship. The expected salary range for this position is $110,000 - $166,100 annually and is bonus eligible. The exact salary is determined by various factors including experience, skills, education, geographic location, internal company equity, and budget.
