As the Senior Manager of Sales Operations at GXO Logistics, you will be responsible for overseeing and optimizing all aspects of the sales process to ensure efficiency, effectiveness, and alignment with organizational goals. This role involves analyzing sales data, implementing sales strategies, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive revenue growth and enhance the overall sales performance.

What you’ll do on a typical day:

Sales Reporting and Communication: Prepare and present regular reports, dashboards, and presentations on sales performance, key metrics, and initiatives to senior management and stakeholders. Sales Strategy Development: Collaborate with senior leadership to develop and implement sales strategies that align with the company's objectives and market conditions. Sales Performance Analysis: Analyze sales data and metrics to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement. Generate insights to inform strategic decisions and drive performance improvements. Sales Forecasting and Planning: Develop accurate sales forecasts based on historical data, market trends, and sales pipeline analysis. Work closely with sales teams to establish realistic sales targets and quotas. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with other departments, such as marketing, finance, and product development, to ensure alignment and collaboration across functions and optimize the end-to-end customer experience.

What you need to succeed at GXO:

At a minimum, you’ll need:

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Statistics, Accounting, Marketing or equivalent related work or military experience 5 years of direct experience in sales support or equivalent experience. Experience selling B2B solutions and/or managing B2B sales teams preferred Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret sales data and metrics and generate actionable insights. Lead development and tracking of sales metrics and KPIs Knowledge of sales enablement technologies (CRM tools), processes and best practices Experience influencing cross-functional stakeholders and managing teams Ability to multi-task and manage multiple projects simultaneously Self-motivated; highly driven to produce results

It’d be great if you also have:

Availability to travel occasionally for in person meetings Experience in the supply chain industry Solution oriented mindset to influence change Superior organizational, conflict resolution and time management skills
