Organization Objective/Purpose The Operational Services organization at Schwab partners with teams across the firm to deliver on service promises to Schwab clients. We are responsible for best-in-class service, protecting and safeguarding the assets of the firm and our clients, all while increasing scalability and efficiency. Within Operational Services, the Transformation Solutions Platform (TSP) team is a cross-functional group that is helping to drive transformation across Operational Services and the broader firm. We use a variety of methodologies, tools and capabilities to drive large-scale change. We partner with teams across Schwab to deliver best-in-class experience, service, and processing solutions for our clients and advisors. TSP executes on Schwab’s Smart Processing strategy, which is at the center of Schwab’s sustainable competitive advantage. Smart Processing requires end-to-end, ecosystem strategy, vision, planning, and execution. When executed well, it drives tangible near-term benefits for Schwab and our clients, including greater scale via increased levels of automation and straight-through processing, greater transparency into service and operational requests, and more efficient and personalized service.  Smart Processing also drives our long-term strategy through creation of data assets that will power AI and Machine Learning applications leading to even greater scale, personalization, and speed to market for Schwab’s next generation of products and features. The Senior Manager, Senior Product Owner, will have responsibility for the management and welfare of the Status Utility data asset and platform at all stages of its lifecycle. Day-to-day responsibilities include hands-on administration and issue resolution for the platform. This includes analyzing the needs of business stakeholders, translating feature requirements into a business specification, and managing the phases of delivery for enhancements and cross-platform project deployments. Main Functions + Advance platform vision and strategy by partnering with the Platform Director and Business Analyst to build and execute roadmaps. + Solve firm/user problems through new and/or evolved strategic enterprise capabilities, building and aligning technology partners and cross-firm business, product, architecture, and platform teams on capability vision & strategy. + Establish strong partnerships across Product, Business Architecture, Technology and Product Owner peers to shape platform capabilities and design solutions that represent end-to-end business needs. + Partner with the technology team leaders to execute on key components of platform evolution and agile development. + Work in an Agile environment, continuously understanding and developing solutions for business needs, prioritizing the platform backlog, managing risks, and communicating key milestones and deliverables. + Formulate the long-term vision and target state for platform capabilities with a prioritized Now, Next, Later plan and innovation & delivery roadmap to achieve it. + Garner leadership, stakeholder, and user support for capability vision and firm projects via collaborating with project stakeholders and offering up applicable capabilities to design user-centric solutions that achieve business needs and meet architecture standards. + Liaise with partners to understand and address business needs through project requirement and capability build-out; build stakeholder engagement through codified artifacts, forums, and collaboration touchpoints. + Partner with peers to align on a single view and consolidated perspective for all platform work via proactive platform roadmap and backlog management across capabilities, projects, MLO, and health; provide stakeholders and leadership high levels of transparency into backlog, roadmap, and prioritization. Continuously improve team and development processes, from intake to planning. + Accountable for successful platform roadmap implementation through Agile development and coordination with internal and external domains.
