General Summary:
In this role, you will lead Shopper Marketing for our Meals and Beverage Division working on powerful premium brands, Rao’s and Pacific. You will be partnering closely with our brand teams to build the strategy of how their brands are activated at the point of purchase. And, you will be working with retailers in Mass, Grocery, Club and Pure Play channels to build bold, disruptive plans that resonate with their shoppers, drive consideration and trial of our brands, leverage their growing retailer media platform capabilities, and use data and analytics to continuously optimize and strengthen our strategies.
This role requires a high degree of collaboration and ability to influence, working closely with brand marketing, integrated marketing, customer teams, shopper insights, sales strategy, and external agency partners.
Key Responsibilities:
Direct the creation, execution, and continuous optimization of large-scale shopper marketing programs that support brand business objectivesActively partner with marketing (Brand and Integrated Marketing) to understand their priorities, lead their thinking on the role shopper marketing plays in supporting their objectives and integrate campaigns across the full activation funnelActively partner with stakeholders in Sales (Sales Strategy, Retail Activation, E-Commerce, Customer Teams) and at the Retailer to build plans that allow their shoppers to experience our brands in holistic and unique waysStay informed of the fast-changing shopper marketing landscape. Continuously pay that learning forward to our commercial teams. Use learnings to strengthen shopper marketing plansExecute with financial rigor, managing and optimizing investment in shopper marketingEffectively manage one external agency to deliver bold, effective shopper marketing plans that are win for the brand, the customer, and the shopperJob Complexity:
Provide strategic shopper marketing thought leadership to partners across Sales and Marketing functions and with leadership across the Division.Manage communication, financials, and alignment across a broad set of cross functional partnersManage changes in plan based on retail operations, sell in and executionDevelop "white space" opportunities and bring concepts to executionEnsure agencies are delivering on strategic objectivesMinimum Requirements:
Bachelor's degree required12+ years of experience in Digital or Shopper Marketing, Marketing, Customer Marketing, or working at a creative agency with proven successBusiness and analytical acumen with the ability to link seemingly disparate pieces of informationSelf-starter, independent thinker, action oriented, and passionate about shopper marketingDetail orientated, reliable, resourceful, and driven for results professionalStrong interpersonal and communication skills. Able to effectively present ideas and concepts to groups of varying levels internally and externallyAbility to contribute, influence and work effectively in a cross-functional matrix organizationAbility to work independently, multi-task and prioritize/work effectively under pressureStrong organizational skillsAbility to handle ambiguityTravel: Up to 20% Travel required
Compensation and Benefits:
The target base salary range for this full-time, salaried position is between
$105,000-$172,200Individual base pay depends on work location and additional factors such as experience, job-related skills, and relevant education or training. Total pay may include other forms of compensation. In addition, we offer competitive health, dental, 401k and wellness benefits beginning on the first day of employment.
