As a Senior Software Development & Engineering Manager in Retirement Plan Services, you are responsible for leading one or more software delivery teams. You will ensure they are able to consistently produce high-quality output by providing guidance and support for all facets of software delivery, including design, development, testing, deployment, tooling and support. You will serve as a strong, versatile hands-on technical leader to deliver high-quality solutions that meet business objectives in a flexible, collaborative, and rapidly changing environment.

What you have

Required Qualifications

10+ years of progressive experience in IT across Software Engineering/Development roles5+ years of people leadership, supporting highly technical individuals5+ years of experience running small to medium-sized projects and initiativesHands-on experience with Agile (Scrum/Kanban) processes in planning, implementation and support of business applications, including change & release managementStrong knowledge of, and demonstrated expertise in, software design, development, testing, maintenance and support Professional experience assembling and leading teams that developed distributed scalable enterprise-class applications with a few of the following technologies: C#, ASP, .NET, Delphi, Angular, SQL Server, Oracle, Pivotal Cloud Foundry, SAML, OAuth, REST and SOAP-based APIsStrong leadership, communication, facilitation, and motivational skills, with the ability to build rapport with and influence team members, peers, and partnersAbility to attract, engage and retain top, diverse technical talentAbility to coach team members and assist them in identifying and achieving their personal and professional development goalsProven success leveraging team member strengths to accomplish team, organization, and corporate goals

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with Test Driven DevelopmentFinancial Services industry experienceExperience with the Atlassian suite of products (Confluence, JIRA, Bitbucket, Bamboo)Familiarity with Cloud Platforms such as PCF, GCP and AWS is preferredClient-focused mindset, driven to understand and exceed the expectations of our internal and external customersExcellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of clearly articulating complex technical issues to peers, partners, all levels of the technology organization
