Senior Manager, Sourcing

The Sr. Manager, Sourcing will oversee sourcing and procurement strategies for Glossier, ensuring operational excellence, cost efficiency, and resiliency. This role will report directly to the Sr. Director of Product Operations. The Sr. Manager, Sourcing will foster a robust spirit of collaboration with its internal partners in Quality, Program Management and Supply Chain as well as cross-functional product partners in Product Development, Packaging Developing, Creative, Marketing and Finance. The primary responsibilities of this leader will be to identify,  qualify, and maintain high-quality vendor partnerships that support the overall values and business objectives of Glossier for our finished goods and packaging solutions.This individual will also be expected to act as the internal champion for cost savings, margin and process improvements. 

Six Month Expectations  Track and analyze Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to evaluate supplier performance and ensure consistent achievement of quality, cost, delivery and customer service targets. Regularly assess suppliers for their lead time adherence, and work with the Supply Chain team to clearly define date fields, and ensure the measurement is fair and accurate.  Work closely with our Data team to ensure key inputs are maintained and updated in our respective planning systems.   Champion the newly revised vendor onboarding process in partnership with the Product and Packaging Development teams.  Facilitate Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs) with strategic suppliers and in partnership with Quality, Product and Supply Chain leads with a focus on stronger supplier relationships and accountability. Lead global sourcing strategies to enhance supply chain resiliency and mitigate geopolitical risk. Drive cost savings initiatives through supplier negotiations and optimizing operational efficiencies.  Partner with Product Development and Marketing teams to support innovation pipelines and deliver on-time, successful product launches. Collaborate with Operations and Quality teams to resolve issues and uphold product excellence.  Twelve+ Month Expectations Monitor market trends, industry advancements, and supply chain risks to proactively identify opportunities and mitigate potential challenges. Lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting for sourcing-related activities. Champion sustainable sourcing practices that align with Glossier’s commitment to social and environmental responsibility. Qualifications  Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering or related field. 5+ years of experience in sourcing or procurement within the beauty or consumer packaged goods (CPG) industry. Experience managing international supplier relationships. Strong knowledge of packaging materials, manufacturing processes, and supplier landscapes. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all organizational levels. Proven negotiation skills and experience managing supplier contracts and partnerships. Experience driving cost savings initiatives and managing budgets. Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and make strategic recommendations. Proficiency in Excel, ERP systems, and other supply chain management tools.

In accordance with the applicable law, the following represents a good faith estimate of the minimum and maximum compensation range for this position:

The estimated annual pay range for this role is $106,000-$138,000 There may be future opportunities for continued pay progression based on continued strong performance in the role.Full-time positions are also eligible for a competitive compensation and benefits package that include medical health insurance, 401K, equity in the form of Restricted Stock Units, Paid Time Off, Short Term and Long Term Disability leave, and a range of other benefits.
